Today, I reached out to President Cardelle with a formal proposal that is long overdue: to officially name the Alumni Field House after the extraordinary Carol A. Blazina. For 43 years, Carol shaped the heartbeat of SUNY Oneonta as a professor, coach, Title IX pioneer, Director of Women’s Athletics, and Vice President for Community Relations. More than anyone, she was the driving force who navigated Albany, secured the state funding, and turned the vision of the Field House and Dewar Arena into a reality for our campus. Carol taught generations of us how to lead, how to care for our community, and how to get things done. As she always reminded us: “Plan, follow through, and finish.” Now, it’s our turn to follow her advice. If you are a fellow alum, a former athlete, a former Terp, or someone whose life was touched by Carol’s incredible spirit, and you would like to help us get this accomplished, please drop a comment or send me a message. Let’s bring this home for Carol! ~Jonathan Winnicki ’06 Student Association President @sunyoneonta @sunyoneontaalumni @oneontasa @cityofoneontany @foothills.pac @terpsoneonta @reddragonsports

Classes paused. Learning didn’t. 🐉❤️⬇️

Our first-ever Grow, Thrive, Live Day gave Red Dragons a chance to step outside the classroom and:

📚 Grow academically during the Academic Expo,
🎉 Thrive socially at the Red Dragon Games, and
🤝🏽 Live purposefully through the @911day Day of Service.

From exploring new opportunities to friendly competition to giving back across our community, Red Dragons made the most of a day designed to connect, recharge and experience learning in a different way.

This morning OSC joined @terpsoneonta and @emilyfinnfoundation in the Emily Finn lights the way walk. This walk was designed to raise awareness for domestic violence and our team couldn’t be happier to be a part of it. Please visit emilyfinnfoundation.org to learn more about all the amazing programs being ran in Emily’s honor and to donate 🩷

dancing with the terps!

there is so much that i am going to miss about this company; the opportunity to choreograph, freedom to dance, and the connections i made with people i never expected to love as much as i do. for my final terps semester, i got to choreograph with a great friend and dance with the most talented people i’ll ever meet. there will never be another company as loving as terps is, and i can’t wait to see it grow and give others the space to be express themselves creatively. THANK YOU TO MY DANCERS IN “WHEN DOVES CRY”AND “OH MY HEART for trusting the process and being beautifully talented dancers all around, i love you so so much. finally, thank you @terpsoneonta , i love you and ill miss you so big!

Thank you @terpsoneonta for allowing me to continue dancing at college and giving me my second home these last four years. To put into words the love I have for this company is impossible. Having the opportunity to have a dance in one of the shows was something I never thought I was capable of and my dancers from The Chain mean everything to me for helping me bring my vision to life. The friends I have made through terps will forever be my greatest takeaway from this company. I don’t know how I would have gotten through the last four years without everyone I met through this company. I have loved being a part of terps and can’t wait to sit in Row C next year!!💗💗
