Last weekend, this incredible cast and crew brought ‘Solid as Stone’ to life as part of the Seattle Horror 48. I could not be more proud of these passionate, talented local creators who each brought relentless dedication and positivity to set. Very special thanks to @nickysmitfilms who helped make it happen. Excited to share the fruits of our labor on the big screen, Monday October 26 at 6pm at the SIFF Uptown Cinema. #seahfphorror26

Photographing an event is like trying to record an artwork that's better felt than seen. But I enjoy the challenge.

To watch someone's masterpiece unfold in real time is an experience I hope to have again.

Thank you, Kelly, for choosing to put so much of your energy into this art form that you're so gifted at ❤️

Had a blast at @westsoundfilmfest meeting fellow filmmakers and experiencing our creations together the way movies are meant to be watched. But if you missed it, or if you just can’t get enough watching, Watched Pot is now streaming at the link in @icookhandfilms bio.

Watched Watched Pot in the Humans Being block with other awesome local creations, plus more in Beyond the Veil. Stopped by @lbtaproombremerton for a half-pint between blocks. Take the bartender’s IPA advice!

holy smokes — last night, we won the @westsoundfilmfest 72 Hour Film Competition Grand Prize and Audience Favorite. Still reeling. Honored to have simply been featured in such an impressive lineup of locally-produced films. Not everyone from our incomparable cast+crew is pictured here, but all were invaluable in making Watched Pot what it is. Allow me to subject them to one last round of maniacal tagging. Special thanks to @antigon3535 @ballastbookco @bremertontypewriter @cupsespresso and of course @beyondkaraoke.bremerton for making this happen.

On Friday, March 27 at 7:30pm, our film ‘Watched Pot’, shot at @beyondkaraoke.bremerton during the @westsoundfilmfest 72 Hour Film Competition, will premiere at the @bremertonroxy alongside its fellow locally-made short films. I am so proud of our creation and excited to share it with the world. If you’re free and interested, mark your calendar to come watch and celebrate with me and the entire cast and crew, without whom none of this would have been possible.

What started as learning a few steps quickly turned into weeks of late-night rehearsals, inside jokes, and nonstop laughter—bringing an eclectic group of people together for one unforgettable Mehndi night at Rukhezahra & Talal’s wedding 💃🕺

Dancing at a Desi wedding had been a bucket-list item of mine for a while, and this experience more than exceeded that expectation—with the energy, the joy, and the sheer level of fun. Performing in this was an absolute blast and easily one of the highlights of my 2025.

This post mostly captures the groom’s side dances from the night. Because Instagram limits videos to 60 seconds, some performances are split across two slides.

The first four dances in the post are the ones I performed in:

• Hulara
• Gallan Goodiyan
• Where’s the Party Tonight
• Gasolina

The next three are some personal favorites from the groom’s side:

• Nach Punjaban
• Bachna Ae Haseeno
• Peechay Hutt

After that, I also included a few clips and highlights from the bride’s side dances—because the energy that night deserved to be shared from every angle.

Huge thank you to our choreographers Nawal, Amna, and Pan, to all the fellow dancers who made this such a memorable experience, and of course most of all to the bride and groom—without whom none of this would’ve been possible 💛

These are just my personal highlights—you can watch every dance in full on YouTube (link in bio).
