Let’s get a jump on this, club kids & techno baddies: On Saturday Oct 24 it’s professor versus protege at the next Cherry Bomb. 🍒💣 Far before he became a member of The MoB, we were a fan of hip-hop artist & songwriter @mannydibiachi. Not just because of his top-tier stage presence and vicious wordplay, but also his impressive ear and musicality. When he expressed a desire to add deejaying to his portfolio of talents, @hunyrocks was all too willing to take him on as her first (and to-date *only*) mentee. Since then he’s been smashing gigs all over the city, including DVF, our Cobra finale, and twice at Cherry Bomb Day Party. 🧨 That said, it only makes sense that we finally welcome him to join his mentor on the decks at OG Cherry Bomb. Expect ENERGY. Expect CUNT. And, of course, expect to dance HARD. 🙌🏾💅🏾 This one is going to eat down. HUNY XO x Manny Dibiachi: 10/24, 9pm-2am, at @spiritpgh. $10 adv/$15 door (🎟️ in bio) 💥 COSTUMES ENCOURAGED 😈

Time is FLYING at an exponential rate cause what you mean Cherry Bomb is again this Friday?? 🍒💣 Last month popped off despite a series of unexpected events including having to replace an under the weather Madame Trio with MARZ and then MARZ getting caught in the Squirrel Hill tunnel fire. They’re both feeling better, both safe and sound, & @kaylalukitsch hopped on the decks to give @hunyrocks a break but DAYUM. Love ya @madame_trio & @who.tf.is.marz! 🙏🏾 On Friday we fully expect to sweat it out. It’s officially the fall season now, but we keeping it HAWT (and CUNTY) with HUNY XO & Baltimore-based deejay and producer @s.dotmusic making his Steel City debut. Techno is the flava, oonz oonz aficionados. Get them lewks together, stretch, hydrate, and assemble your crew. 💥 $10 online (🎟️ link in bio) or $15 if you pay at the door! 📸 @dawnhartmanphotography

Club kids, you ‘bout to have it all: an all Cherry Bomb everything weekend kicks off less than 2 weeks from now when Baltimore deejay, producer, and Black queer icon SDOT (@s.dotmusic) makes his Pittsburgh debut. 🍒💣 On Friday Sept 25 our cunty techno dance hard party enters the Fall season when resident @hunyrocks is joined by this *wildly* accomplished mainstay of the global club circuit. We actually feel very comfy calling SDOT your favorite DJ’s favorite DJ because the selectors werking underground nightlife to a frenzy right now all have at least one SDOT track locked and loaded. Pure effing fire, trust that 🧨 And the very next day, 9/26, Cherry Bomb Day Party delivers 6 hours of house music in the sun. Maybe we were supposed to get rained out just so the full Cherry Bomb fantasy could be achieved over just one weekend.💥 Hosted by the booth bunnies @asajeanz, @gee.bee.412, @sarahquiana, & @terrez_000 🐰 The oonz oonz is Black AF. All killer no filler. $10 in advance or $15 at the door. 🎟️ in bio!

UPDATE: postponed to 9/26 due to the rain forecast ☔️ one final Cherry Bomb Day Party tomorrow (2-8pm in the alley next to @tracebrewing) and believe me when I say it was hard won. between everybody and they mama wanting an alley party and the insufferable Karen antics of certain Bloomfield residents I’ve already aired out…it’s been a struggle. but here we go. one more time. 🍒💣 I mentioned in my stories a couple weeks ago that while I was in LA I attended @theyhousela’s Sunday Sessions takeover in @grandpark_la and had a spiritual experience. I haven’t danced that hard at a party in years and it was all house music. that solidified a lingering thought I’d had for months—that I should narrow the focus of Cherry Bomb Day Party to house the same way I did for Cherry Bomb which became a techno party when it returned to @spiritpgh as a monthly residency in February. thank you, @terrell_.brooke ❤️‍🔥 I feel good about this remix of the Cherry Bomb brand—house in the sun and techno into demon hours. I got some very fab deejays joining me that are gon go BEAST MODE: my werk husband @rojowashere, my lil sis @manibahia_, and the talented @khankuma140 who is joining a MoB lineup for the first time. he’s not queer but his moms are so that’s extended fam. 🏳️‍🌈 I hope everyone comes ready to dance and feel some communal togetherness and joy. I also hope it doesn’t rain or at least not much. if it does we’ll have to postpone. I’ma hope the universe sees me fit for a blessing so we can just have this 6 hour mental health break. it’s needed. here’s to brighter days 🙏🏾 📸 @coledupo

Detroit represented HEAVY at last month’s Cherry Bomb and we lived. Auntie Chanel FTW! But tomorrow night it’s all about the severely underrated scene right here in Pittsburgh. Clock it — *five* hours of WERK with deejays @hunyrocks & @madame_trio + our hosts/booth bunnies @asajeanz, @gee.bee.412, @sarahquiana, & @terrez_000 are on deck. 🍒💣 This is the final Cherry Bomb of the summer. The college babes are back in town. It’s not gonna rain. And if you get that ticket before 9pm tomorrow it’s only $10. Duh, you’re coming 🙌🏾 8/28, 9pm-2am, at @spiritpgh. 🎟️ in bio! 📸 @dawnhartmanphotography
