POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Digicam Days: People, Places, Parties

1. Jamie & Zia. 4th of July, 2011, maybe 12. Jumping ahead in the archives a bit but I love this photo. I wish I had both of the shirts these two are wearing. I could probably still find the one Zia is wearing, it's a Dandy's classic, but that BJM design with Travis is very rare.

2. Matt, Joel & Colin. This was taken at a Dilettantes show at The Knife Shop.

3. The Dilettantes. Not a great photo. But I shot a video that's pretty good. You can find it on my YouTube channel if you do a bit of digging.

4. Joel and Colin.

5. Matt, Dand, me. I think Colin or Joel took this one. I call it Charlie's Other Angels 😂

6. Brian Coates working his magic on the Rebel Drones sound. Doug Fur, 2008.

7. Rebel Drones. East End. NYE, 2008.

8. Rick Bain. East End. NYE, 2008.

9. Looking for a Kiss. Sylvain Sylvain & Joe Reney, 2009. Yeah, still finding photos from this night.

10. The Nice Boys in motion. 2008. I'm unsure of the venue. Dante's maybe.

11. Jeremy & Jhordan. East End.

12. The Pink Snowflakes, East End 2008. Their bubble machine made for fun photos.

13. Brent Fellows & Jud. I had many great adventures with these two. Miss you guys!

14. Matt & Sarah. After-show house party. Whose place was this? I'm digging on the Data stand-up.

15. A sharp dressed Simmons. East End.

16. Rebel Drones. East End. 2009?

17. Brian Coates.

18. Matt & me at the Killingsworth loft. I appear skeptical about the beer. Hamm's! Probably warm, even. I'm sure I drank it, and then another, and another. I would drink anything in those days, especially after the bars closed. I mean, look at my nose. (It's all better now:)

19. Stacey & Emily. Killingsworth loft, 2007. Night School!

20. Jud, Lindsey, William. Killingsworth loft.

Just framed this super rad @explodingheartsofficial poster by @dirtydonnyart. Definitely one of my favorite pieces in the loft.

Digicam Days

It looks like Instagram is now allowing me to post 20 photos in one fell swoop. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Quality control & all that. Oh well. Perfection is not the point (& shoot.) These are quickly grabbed moments in & out of time. And I'm tired today. What about you?

1, 2, & 3. The Nice Boys (Terry, Colin, & Gabe) at East End, 2008. It didn't get a pic of Alan that night, unfortunately.

4. Kids going crazy for Nice Boys, ha!

5. Emily, Halloween or maybe just a random Tuesday.

6. Mike & Michael, Killingsworth Loft.

7. Steve Turner, East End.

8 & 9. Pierced Arrows, Tonic Lounge 2009.

10. Mark Pickerel & Michael Maker, Katherine in back, by the photo booth, East End.

11. Bathroom Show Posters, East End.

12. Emily, basement green room, Dante's.

13. Casey & Nate, green room, Dante's.

14. Jhordan, Dante's.

15. The Family Gun, Dante's.

16. Josh Spacek, East End.

17. Matt Simons, East End.

18. Pete Holmstrom, Cal Sport. Was it still called Cal Sport then, or had it become Slabtown? Anyway, this photo is unstuck in time. A low-res Walgreen's film scan from 2002. We got to witness an unscheduled BJM show that evening. I think their van broke down or something? I only shot a photo or two. Sometimes I just became lost in the music, it's better that way. I'll have to dig up the negatives one of these days.

19. Coatsie & moi, East End. Thank you to whoever I handed off my camera to take this. Jud?

20. Soul brother, Matt Hollywood, East End.

I’m trying to be better at hard posting pics. I figured today is a good day to revisit the past year, and put up some of the highlights that I haven’t already posted. (Well, technically the last 368 days or so, but who’s counting?)

Celebrating @rxlush and my shared bday with Devo and @pinhead138 at the zoo.

@msprincess_2u interpreting for The Exploding Hearts 💕

Debbie, Marie, and Iggy make everything better.

Me and my favorite mini horse, Dominique.

Bride Daddy taking out the trash.

@brassteeth don’t follow nobody’s rules.

Plrls just released their new album, featuring this song. For my birthday, you should visit me at CSR on Saturday and buy it!

We also have the new Shonen Knife.

It stopped letting me tag people in the pics, so I’ll just comment - @reedabeez @classy_elegnace @chaselisbon @awesomejames
