THE PENALTY QUESTION GOT US TALKING. 👀🎙️

Terry Borderline refused to pick a side, so you know what that means… PENALTY QUESTION.

Without saying names, who’s the most overrated artist in Boston? I told him to describe the type, and the Henny bottle was just the beginning. 😂

What started with some laughs turned into a much deeper conversation about Boston hip hop, the paradox of white rappers, and the tension that can exist when artists enter a culture but disrespect the very people who built it.

Who gets to represent Massachusetts hip hop? What does it mean to respect the culture you participate in? And why does it sometimes feel like the people who helped build the foundation get pushed aside?

This is a 7 minute clip, and I wanted to leave the entire conversation in because some discussions deserve more than a 30 second soundbite.

On the latest episode of Herm Radio, Terry Borderline and I get into AI and how it could reshape society. 🤖

Terry brings up an interesting point: how many high level positions are filled by people doing work that may not be as meaningful or challenging as we think? As AI takes over certain tasks, could it force people to find more fulfilling ways to spend their time and discover a value beyond their job title?

Maybe the real question isn’t just what AI will take away from us, but what it could push us to discover about ourselves.

Terry also has a project out now called “No AI Was Used”, which is receiving great reviews. The project is sparking conversation about AI and its place in music and society.

You can’t make this up.

Of course when a company like DistroKid that used to be three dudes in a basement gets bought by CVC Capital Partners, we coulda seen this coming, right?

We won this battle, and NO AI WAS USED by @terryborderline and @gasoline.monk is out now, where it can continue to wage its war against the machines!
