A sad day for the Highlander, a broken chain tensioner totaled this 2.4 liter 2AZ-FE. Cool fact, the Highlander was also called the Kluger in Australia and Japan. Turning the motor by hand confirmed a seized engine. Also pistons 2 and 3 had no carbon which means a head gasket leak was steam cleaning the internals. About the only good thing that came out of it was a new friend and getting to play with some very expensive tools.

Had a little high temp scare at the last round of @hotpitautofest therefore going into the finals the team and I had to make sure that all cylinders were firing at 100%. So rather than guessing how the head gasket, valves and pistons are, I grabbed this @teslongusa Boroscope and checked their status myself. Gotta say, I’m not new to Boroscopes, but having a dual camera and articulating head is a game changer! Absolutely putting this to work religiously now! - Quick info on this pup just in case you need one: Teslong TD500 Borescope: https://scrl.ink/PeZNkk Teslong website: https://teslong.com/RJContreras And I have a discount code for you! PFR Power Liquid for Carbon and even melt's copper too. No ammonia!! No CLR. Hand made by PFR 🔥🇫🇮🔥 . . I have been thinking for a long time to make a Liquid, thar would melt the carbon our from the barrel. Those who know, the carbon is the barrel enemy number one, not the copper. But this solvent take's away both materials. This stainless @bixnandy barrel i did cleaned so, that i left one soaking wet VGF tambone in to the area to the barrel, where the carbon ring comes. Today i did put 5 @paulcleanofficial and @coletaceurope Patches thru the barrel, few ones wet and then dry ones, the carbon was coming off very easily. Only worked about 1/4 hour with this barrel, and look how clean it is, just with that little time, it doea really work! @teslongusa @aaweefi BoreScope show that the carbon ring is gone, usually that takes most of the time to get rid off it, but now it was easy as it can be. I did used brush on a rod, 10-times in&out but only 10-times. I need to test this green power liquid more. I made this mostly for stainless barrels only, because stainless will take any type of liquids, unlike chromoly, that will have isdues with water based liquids, because the carbon steel will start rust and that's not good.

#ad The right tool really makes all the difference. 🌿 I’ve been using the @teslongusa Teslong 20V Cordless Leaf Blower lately, and it has completely changed the way I take care of my outdoor space—lightweight, powerful, and no cords holding me back. Just grab it and go. The chores that used to feel like a drag are now actually… enjoyable. What surprised me most is that it’s more than just a leaf blower—it’s my go-to for keeping patios, garages, and driveways spotless in minutes. Less time cleaning, more time for what matters. Precision isn’t something we claim. It’s something we document. Every HRD build is inspected and recorded from the inside out. This 7 PRC chamber is exactly what we want to see. Build it right. Prove it. #haughtrifledevelopment #7prc #customrifle #precisionrifle #hunting

New Hampshire, I don’t know why you are so committed to being so tough on us when we race here. I’m just glad everyone is ok, and we all get to look back on this with some incredible memories. See you next year!

Never good to end up on your side. It was not our day at @nhms out of the race early in both divisions, especially with a wild ride in the USNEPower Energizer 1. Appreciative of the @team_reaume group in the Trucks & @libertybrewcoffee \ @teslongusa for the opportunity. We will dig back in the Mod! Four to go starting at Stafford Friday.
