The Dancers Detour Episode 6!!!!!!

Miles in, barre work, miles out. 🏃‍♀️ to 🩰 to 🏃‍♀️

Sandwiching a full ballet class between two runs to test real-world endurance. It’s easy to stay lifted at the barre when you’re fresh, but finding turnover, precision, and alignment after a run—and then hitting the pavement right after—demands full-body discipline.

Building stage stamina means training the engine to keep firing long after fatigue sets in.

so basically i created a show with my bare hands, involving only the people i love and care for so much. i wouldn’t have done it any other way. so many thanks for everyone who danced/supported/showed up - we all worked our asses off for 8/27

Holy i cant believe im making this post right now. COPA has been my family for 15 years and the fact thats its over still hasnt completely hit me. Every single person I met was a blessing and I dont think I will ever be more grateful for something. Not only have I been able to be trained in something that I want to do for the rest if my life, but I was able to gain some life long friends who I dont think I can live without. Im so grateful to all the amazing teachers who helped me grow, friends who always supported me, and most importantly for the gift to be able to perform. Thank you so much COPA for being my home. I love you so much!❤️ Fruzins forever!

this semester was the most rewarding, challenging, inspiring, connective, formative, beautiful, and emotional journey.

i feel so proud of the art i created and/or was a part of within the last 6 months, and so grateful for the relationships i strengthened/formed along the way.
