I never really bought into astrology.

But when I first had my birth chart read in India, I was mind-blown at the insight: specific family dynamics, aversions, and parts of myself that didn’t make sense until years later.

I don’t believe the planets determine what happens to us, but this ancient system has given me language for parts I’ve spent years trying to understand 🪐

Akelarre is back 🌕

Our second edition is coming September 25th, just as we move into a new season.
We’re taking the Harvest Moon as a moment to pause, reset, and gather.. especially after a summer of movement, travel, Burning Man, and everything that comes with it.
Come for a night of music, movement, breath, connection, and a little space to reset before stepping into what’s next.
Bring your friends, come as you are, and join us for another night together.

September 25 · Venice, CA
Tickets are now live.

A brain conditioned to constantly seek what’s next doesn’t suddenly become present when life gets meaningful.

We spend so much of our lives looking ahead.

And we wonder why time is flying by.

Even when you create space to celebrate or integrate an experience, the nervous system often defaults to what’s familiar.

Presence is something we have to practice.

Not just in the beautiful moments, but in the uncomfortable ones, too.

Because rushing through uncertainty, boredom, or grief, also reduces our capacity to fully experience joy, connection, and love.

The highs can’t exist without the lows.

Our aliveness is in the contrast that gives each moment its meaning.
