Hi, I’m Clair, the artist and owner behind Ilt.

I’m a Liberty Lake girl through and through. I was born and raised here, went to Central Valley High School, and have had my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many friends that all call Liberty Lake home too. This community has always been a huge part of who I am, which makes building Ilt here that much more special.

After graduating from Glen Dow Academy with my Master’s in Esthetics, I opened my first private studio in 2022. What started as a small dream has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.

My style is fine line, classy, soft, and feminine. I wanted to create a tattoo experience that feels approachable, especially for someone getting their very first tattoo. I love the idea of changing the expectations of what getting a tattoo can feel like. It can be calm, comfortable, elevated, and personal.

Beyond the tattoo itself, I want you to feel like you’re coming to see me. I want to build real relationships with the people in my chair, get to know you, and create an experience that makes you excited to come back, whether it’s for your next tattoo or simply to catch up!

After three years of growing Ilt, I’m so excited to be stepping into this next chapter with my new studio here in the River District. It’s bigger, brighter, more elevated, but still the same Ilt at heart.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their tattoos, supported my little business, shared my work, sent their friends my way, or simply followed along. I wouldn’t be here without you.

The day finally came! I graduated @studiobeautyschool !! 9/10/26
This was one of the best experiences I could’ve asked for. I’m so grateful for everyone I met along the way and the for the friendships I’ve made. They’ve made an impact on my life in such positive ways, I can’t wait to see what comes next! I love them all!!🩵
I had the best time doing nails, meeting new people, and pushing myself towards achieving my goals each day and I couldn’t be happier🥹
This is the end of the beginning!

When the call goes out to build a backyard playground, these people ALWAYS show up! My church group is more than friends. They are my family. They love me when I’m sad. They support me when I’m low. And they constantly get roped into things and yet keep these lovely smiles on their faces! I feel so lucky!

Hello, September!

There’s just something about this time of year that feels like a fresh start. The seasons are changing, routines are shifting, and I’m embracing a few changes of my own!

Starting this month, my behind-the-chair hours will be Tuesday–Friday, giving me a little more balance while still doing what I love most—creating beautiful hair. 💗

I’m especially excited for this month because I have a couple of new clients coming in for blonding correction appointments, and I can’t wait to see the transformations! ✨

Here’s to a new season, fresh hair, and all the good things September has in store. ✨
