In December (!!!), we shot the pilot for THE BOSS, @instylemagazine’s THE INTERN spinoff, an extension of our cinematic universe. Cinema!

People are going to tell you New York is expensive. People are going to tell you you can’t do something. You may be telling yourself you can’t do it.

But it doesn’t have to always make logical sense. Yes New York is expensive but if you want to go a live a different life then go and do it.

You have a choice. You have the chance to start telling yourself a different story, you have the chance to start on the path to living the life you want to live. But it is going to take more responsibility & it’s going to require you to take a chance on yourself.

Moved to nyc 7 years ago so freaking scared. But it challenged me, lit me up, tore me down, inspired me and taught me so much. Walking out stronger on the other side.

My roommates would say in college that we were going to move to New York & eat Chinese food on the floor of our apt and we did just that. It was a silly little dream we made come true. Little did we know we would still be in the same apt 7 years later lol.

I started on commission as a trainer with no guaranteed salary. But I knew I wanted it. My roommates started as interns working in editorial making $15 an hour. We didn’t have much at first but the universe rewarded us with a cheap apartment in the perfect neighborhood & each of us 2-3x our initial salary by year 2.

I say this because if your young & thinking about moving DO IT! You don’t always have to have a sign on bonus/ the steady salary lined up yet but you do have to choose to get uncomfortable and believe in a higher power. Because there always is a way.

Last week, I packed my life up into 3 suitcases, moved out of my apartment & said goodbye to my two besties. Il be back a lot & of course NYC will always be the best city in the world 🌎

But for now I’m craving something new.
