I recently did a festival with @ludacris and the full band, and one thing you’ll notice in this video is he uses NO SIDEFILLS OR WEDGES at all. Everybody’s on in-ears. So if you’re sitting on that stage thinking you’ve got the best seat in the house… audio-wise, all you’re really hearing is a whole lot of live drums and stage bleed. 😂

That’s why the audio in this video sounds NOTHING like the FOH mix. The PA is firing away from the stage and toward the crowd, the vocals and instruments are living mostly inside the band’s IEMs, and depending on where you’re sitting, the little bit you do hear can be completely unbalanced.

So yeah… you’re close enough to practically reach out and touch the artist, which is 🔥🔥🔥 — but if you came to actually hear the show? Sometimes the “best seats” in the building might be the worst ones.

Would you still take the on-stage seats? 👀
