Honouring Our Communities, one space at a time. 🖤   As part of our #BlackHistoryMonth series, we’re spotlighting Tex-Roi McKay, founder and designer of FitMe Clothing, now a commercial tenant at Launch It Angel Yard in Edmonton.✨   Founded in London in 2017, FitMe began as an independent streetwear label built on a simple belief: clothing should make you feel good in yourself. Today, with around 70-75% of its pieces designed and made in the UK, that journey has found a physical home where people can walk in, discover the brand and connect with the story behind it.🙌🏽   Having established founders and creatives like Tex under the same roof matters. For the young entrepreneurs we support at Angel Yard, he’s living proof of what’s possible, and a source of guidance and inspiration right down the corridor. That’s why we create spaces like this: where communities thrive together, and where one founder’s growth helps lift others. 💯   🌐 Explore Tex’s work with FitMe at fitmeclothing.com & more about how we support young entrepreneurs in Edmonton at launchit.org.uk/angel-yard   #BHM2026 #HonouringOurCommunities

@tex_mingles didn’t need us to explain the shot. He described it himself. 😂🔥 “Gone down smooth.” Then he starts feeling it in his throat… then lower down… then the ginger and other flavours start coming through… “You’re getting different sensations as you go along the journey.” That’s probably one of the best descriptions of GINJAH we’ve heard. We didn’t make our ginger shots to taste like juice. We made them high strength, ginger mainly and strong enough to actually be felt. Big love to Tex for trying GINJAH at the @fitmeclothing_ldn launch at Angel Yard and giving us the raw review no script, no rehearsed testimonial, just his reaction in the moment. 😂🔥 Think you could handle the full shot? Burn your way to comfort.

You know I’m Jamaican 🇯🇲 That’s when I knew he was taking this personally 😂🔥 @tex_mingles stepped up at the @fitmeclothing_ldn launch, shook the bottle and said: “No retreat. No surrender.” One GINJAH shot One chance Straight down The confidence BEFORE tasting it was crazy… But I cut the video right before the first sip. 👀 Part 2 is where we find out if the confidence survived the burn. Would you take the whole shot in one go? BURN YOUR WAY TO COMFORT
