I am thrilled to announce that I will be biking from Austin to Alaska as part of the @texas4000 2027 team in the fight against cancer!

Texas 4000 for Cancer is a nonprofit organization at The University of Texas at Austin that trains student leaders to bike from Austin, Texas, to Anchorage, Alaska, while engaging communities in the fight against cancer.

I am beyond grateful, honored, and blessed to be a part of this incredible journey!

If you would like to support our mission, please consider donating through the link in my bio! You can also help by sharing my fundraising page with family, friends, and your social networks. It takes a village, so let’s spread awareness and work together to fight cancer.

Come along my journey to Alaska!

Exciting news!! I have been selected to join @texas4000 as a member of the 2027 Ride Team! 🚴‍♀️⛰️💛

Next summer, I will be biking from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska as part of the World’s Largest Annual Charity Ride, Texas 4000!

Over the next year, I will be training, fundraising, and preparing for the journey ahead. Each rider is working to raise $7,500 to support cancer research, cancer awareness, patient support services, and the costs of our ride to Alaska. Every contribution makes a difference, and I would be so grateful for any support you would be able to give.

If you would like to support me on this journey, please consider making a donation through the link in my bio!

I can’t wait to share my journey of training, fundraising, and riding with all of you over the next year!!

To Alaska and back,
Isabella

While in Denver, our Rockies team had the opportunity to volunteer with Brent’s Place, a longtime partner of Texas 4000!

It was a privilege to pour into the Brent’s Place community, listen to their stories, and connect with people driven by the same mission. Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why we ride.

We also had the incredible honor of presenting a $5,000 donation to support their work.

Thank you, @brentsplace, for continuing to welcome our Rockies team into your space and allowing us to be part of your community!

I am so excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Texas 4000 for Cancer program! In the summer of 2027, I will be biking from Austin to Anchorage in the world’s longest annual charity bike ride. I can’t wait to spend the next year raising awareness and funds for cancer research, as well as training and growing as a leader.

This cause hits home for me in so many ways, and I hope to use this journey to honor and pay respect to the many lives impacted by cancer. To those who have battled, are currently battling, or are a loved one impacted- I ride for you. I’ll be using this account to update y’all on my journey, so follow along! I’m very nervous, but my excitement for everything exceeds my nerves by so much. 💟

I have more information about my mission on my fundraising page, and there’s more information about Texas 4000 on their website. Feel free to check those out using the links in my bio. Your support means the world to me, and anything helps! #teamizzy #fightingcancereverymile #texas4000forcancer #hopeknowledgecharity

On their way from Austin to Anchorage, Alaska, by bicycle, @texas4000 stopped by our Dallas Clubhouse to create cards that were hand-delivered to cancer patients at Medical City Dallas. They also painted signs for our Community is Stronger Than Cancer Survivorship Celebration on June 27. This group includes students and recent graduates from @utaustintx who are raising awareness for those living with cancer and the organizations that support them on this journey covering thousands of miles.

CSCNT staff enjoyed getting to know these highly motivated and kind young people. We'll welcome you to our clubhouse any time when you are back in Texas! Also, many thanks to Medical City staff who collaborated with us and Texas 4000 so the bicyclists could meet directly with patients.

Day 1: Austin, TX ➡️ Georgetown, TX (28.9 mi)

Don’t think you could ask for a better day 1 ride🙂‍↔️

Weather was toasty but breezy so not too bad for May. Got to rock a rest stop at Round Rock Donuts (I ate 3. Don’t eat 3😵‍💫). Afterwards I destroyed a fat plate of Olive Garden and I’m finishing off with a Snickers and Raspberry Shake. What’s the line on pounds gained…
