2026 Mazda CX-5 window sweep removal—ZERO screws removed! 🔥

Watch Papi Eliu demonstrate how to remove the inner window sweep using just a bone tool, with the door panel staying in place. No panel disassembly, no screws, just controlled movements and knowing where to work. 💪

For window tint installers, removing the sweep creates access for bottom loading window film. In this demonstration, I show you how I approach this Mazda CX-5 without taking the door apart.

It’s the little details that make a difference in your window tinting technique. 👊

💾 Save this tutorial for your next Mazda CX-5 tint job.
👇 Do you remove the sweep or use a two-stage installation?

Tesla GLASS vs TINTED Glass

We tested the infrared HEAT REJECTION performance of a factory Tesla Cybertruck glass versus XPEL XR PLUS 20 nano-ceramic window film.

Using a 250-watt infrared heat lamp and a solar power meter, we measured the heat energy passing through the factory glass before and after installing the film.

The results showed a significant reduction in infrared energy transmission with XPEL XR PLUS 20, demonstrating how ceramic window film can help reduce heat entering your vehicle and improve comfort.

Test performed at Texas Tint Masters in Houston, TX.

It’s wonderful to share with so many incredible people who share the same ideals and passion for this art form that is window tinting. It’s wonderful to see how the industry is growing and becoming more demanding and professional, and how brands are increasingly supporting and sponsoring events like these and the professionals who participate in them. Thanks to @tinterbattles for this event. We look forward to the next one so we can compete with all these big names in the industry 😉 🔥👊🏻 #windowtints #tintbattle #tintwizapp

New to tint, PPF, wraps, or detailing? Congrats, you might be a target. 🎯

Not for the industry itself, for the self-proclaimed "leaders" who show up acting like they just want to help a beginner out. It's usually a pitch in disguise.

Carlos's take: a lot of this comes down to new people not knowing who to trust yet.

Worth remembering, plenty of legit mentors charge for their time, that's fair, teaching takes them away from paying jobs. And plenty of great business owners never post at all, they're just heads down running their shop.

Loud or quiet, paid or free, none of that alone tells you who's real. What actually helps: check the track record, ask around, see if other techs vouch for them.

Time saving film removal. Clean and efficient. Don’t spend too much time struggling with film removal. Spend more time installing tint. 🤙🤙

January 2026. Houston. 🎥

An archived Tint the World video from a different era — before we became Worldwide Tint Co.

Looking back, Tinter Battles Houston felt like the last truly low-key Tinter Battles. The platform was growing, but it hadn’t completely exploded across the industry yet. It still felt raw, intimate, and like everyone there was helping build something that was about to become much bigger.

We were there helping set up, supporting the event, and watching the beginning of what was quickly becoming a movement.

Fast forward to now… everybody knows Tinter Battles.

Houston felt like that final moment before the whole industry caught on. Crazy to look back and realize we were there helping build it before it went mainstream.
