Rounded up the gals for an early birthday celebration in the Hill Country this weekend. As we sat around the table, I looked at these beautiful women—each from a different season of my life—and couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with love. I’m so grateful to be celebrated by such an amazing group who continues to show up for each other. That’s what it’s all about ❤️Cheers to friendship, growth, and aging like the wine we didn’t leave behind.

I can’t wait to share more about the place we stayed at @texasglampgrounds you were a little hill country dream ✨the Meteor shower show you put on for us 😉was the cherry 🍒on top of the best weekend.

Here’s what I learned ⬇️

First - save this post, you’re going to want to come back to it!

But overall in the last month I’ve learned A LOT through my travel content journey but I’m only going to share a few key points that come to mind. Feel free to reach out in the comments or via dm if you care to hear more!

1. The biggest thing I’ve learned through this journey is that you have to ENJOY it! Like Drake said, the moment you stop having fun with it, you’ll be done with it. Make sure you are creating content for the right reasons! If not, it will become more of a burden than anything else and this is supposed to be a journey of exploration, self discovery, creativity and enjoyment!

2. CONSISTENCY is key when it comes to growth. Not every post is going to perform as well as others. Sometimes the ones you think are going to do the best will do the worst. Sometimes the low effort ones are the ones that do the best. Don’t feel like you have to be perfect to start and don’t feel like you everything needs to be in line to keep going. Half the battle is just showing up. Being present. Shoot for 2-3 posts per day but on the days you can’t, make sure you get at least 1. But remember to keep enjoyment at the core. Without it, you’re bound to stop at some point.

3. CREATIVITY is everything. In a world where almost nothing is “original” - find your personality, your voice your “thing”. Find inspiration from the creators you like to consume and throw your own twist on it. Partake in trends, remake hooks and use audios - but give it a piece of YOU. Create content for you not for anyone else. If YOU enjoy it, that’s all that matters. You don’t find your audience, they find you. Just keep creating. Never stop being you - that’s what makes all of us special and unique.

Like I said there’s so much I’ve learned and can go into specific details about a variety on topics but I truly believe these are my current 3 biggest take aways. Always remember - ENJOY IT. STAY CONSISTENT. BE CREATIVE.

Drop a 🧳 in the comments if this helped, you can relate or you’re just getting started on your travel content journey!
