My biggest flex isn’t my @guinnessworldrecords or my Boston qualifier this past weekend. It’s my people.💕📣

What an unforgettable week. ❤️

DePuy (the medical device company who made my new hips) asked me to give a speech at their National Sales Conference on Friday. I was terrified. I even told them that I would rather get a third hip replacement than give a 10-minute speech on a stage to 500 people. 😜

But, we did it. And I didn’t pee my pants.

Once I got up there on stage & connected with the audience, I felt alive & relaxed. It was so special & rewarding having the privilege to share my story and to thank the DePuy Dream Team for working so hard behind the scenes in the OR to help give people like me a second chance at life.

I cannot wait to do Boston 2025 with you guys and to high-five all of you at the DePuy Mile - Mile 24. 💙💛💙💛

Special thanks to Allie, Lindsay, Darla, Sharrolyn, and Steve for taking such good care of me, for supporting me, & for laughing at my jokes while wearing the green BRB sweatshirts. And, thanks to my lifelong friend Ann for taking a long lunch break to show up & support me with Ben. Having them there with me on the front row definitely helped ease my nerves.

The 2024 Boston Marathon is tomorrow. See you in a year, Boston! 💙🏃🏻‍♀️💛

Awesome people, awesome food, and awesome running at @thewoodlandsmarathon this weekend. You know it’s going to be a good time when the green BRB sweatshirts make an appearance.

This was my third half marathon back after my double hip replacements, and I shaved 9 minutes off of my half time in only six weeks! My shiny, titanium hips are working great and are now my superpower. I am very grateful to have the gift of running back in my life again. ❤️

Pachuco pet portrait on a trans client in Portland 😛Super grateful to have my community feel safe and comfortable to get tattooed by me.

Yesterday was my first day on hormones finally after waiting YEARS of my life to do so. It was a long ride to get here and it’s gonna be another long ride to come 💪🏼💪🏼 thanks to all who have stuck with me and encouraged me along the way. 🙏🏽💫🫂

Sunday’s @chevronhoustonmarathon was Simply The Best. To my people who came out in the freezing cold to root for me in my big comeback race: you are the real MVP’s here.

And shout out to @texasinkshirts for the awesome BRB team sweatshirts. Kortney is amazing. I’m still riding the high and am already planning my next big race. Stay tuned! Let’s go 2024!!

Also, another big shout out to @casualcaratsjewelry for the fun & matching hot pink & green sporty ring set. I don’t usually wear much jewelry when I race, but I will be wearing this ring set for every race now. 🩷💚 💍 ✨

When my people show up for me in the freezing cold at the crack of dawn to watch me run by for ten seconds, you better believe I will put on a show for them. 🩷💚🥰

This photo pretty much sums up my day at the @chevronhoustonmarathon. I can’t believe I’m finally back. 🩷💚😭

Also, I have the coolest friends and husband. Not only have they supported & encouraged me during the lows & the highs over the last couple of years, but today on race day, a group of them showed up for me in the cold to cheer me on & support me. Mile 6.5 was the best mile! ❤️
