Day 2 of the St Andrews Links Collegiate is wrapped up.

Congratulations to Daniel Bennett from @texasmgolf on claiming the Men’s Individual Championship, finishing at Level Par to secure the title.

In the Women’s Individual Championship, Hannah Ounap from @uw_wgolf and Farah O’Keefe @texaswgolf shared the honours at -2 capping off a thrilling battle that came down to the final hole on the Jubilee Course.

A fantastic display of talent, determination, and competitive spirit from all involved as the collegiate golfers took on the windiest conditions at the Home of Golf.

⛳️ Understanding the level. Bridging the gap.

Today I attended the St Andrews Collegiate Tournament, watching some of the best men’s and women’s NCAA Division I golfers compete, representing the @texasmgolf @texaswgolf @uw_wgolf @uw_mgolf @pennwomensgolf @pennmensgolf @ustagolfscholars

I understand what it takes to compete at this level, but I wanted to see it firsthand and compare it with the current standard of junior golf in Scotland.

Being able to watch these players up close provides valuable insight into the differences between the two environments and the standards required to make that step into US collegiate golf.

For me, it’s about taking those observations and using them to help my clients understand what’s required, identify where they can improve and develop their games to bridge that gap.

The aim is to prepare Scottish junior golfers not just to reach the next level, but to be ready to compete when they get there. 🎯⛳️
