Roadies for 10 Years….

By now we’d be in ‘Nawlins for The Essence Festival….

One year ago today Clifton Johnson Celebration of Life and I were finalizing our press list for the biggest concert of the year in New Orleans.

My heart is not in it — because Clif was truly the coolest. He was my brother and we hit so many Red Carpets together!! Still heartbroken that he was taken so soon. I choose to remember him as the awesome person he was and so very funny! #StillInShock #GreatFriend #TenYears ✈️ 🎤 💔

#theloaa tribe always shines because they are taught to #love the #lifeofanactor in any setting. That is exactly what our beloved #angel @texasmusiq did!

As you can see in this #throwback #video Cliff is having a #funny interaction with the #king of impressions #actor @jaypharoah where Jay, we mean “Denzel”, called out Clifton’s longtime classmate @adriantristan 😅!

Though we all miss Clifton’s physical presence very much, it’s videos like this one that remind us of his positive energy, his great smile and his ability to have other storytellers enjoy his presence. We should all strive to be as enjoyable in human connection because that’s what #loaa is all about.

Thank you to #jaypharoah for taking the time to talk with Clifton and show Adrian love and thanks to everyone who has purchased an in memoriam wrist band from us to support all up and coming #comedian as well as Clifton’s #family ! They are still available on our website #linkinbio for purchase.

OMW to bed with a heavy heart...

The old folks used to say life is short, you could be here today and gone tomorrow.

Literally woke up, laughed and replied to your last post, and before the day was out, got a call that your life had been taken. Hard pill to swallow even still today. Rest easy my guy. Hate I couldn't make the services but my thoughts and prayers are with my Lubbock folk today as you say your final goodbyes. 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾

On Monday of this week our #loaa tribe/family and the acting community as a whole suffered a huge and devastating loss. He was one of the bright lights of our lives and most joyous person to represent what we stand for here at #theloaa

Clifton Johnson @texasmusiq was the glue that bound us together through smiles and laughter. His energy, positivity and ability to tell a story and uplift his classmates is something that can never be duplicated or replaced. He truly left an indelible mark on every person here at #lifeofanactor and we all will truly miss his physical presence very much, but know that his energy still surrounds us as we try to move forward.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their condolences and prayers and to his family and friends, we grieve with you and are here to support you in any way that we can.

Cliff aka our Sam Jackson…we love you and we hope that we can carry on your legacy through storytelling as you look down on us and make sure that we are always smiling in your memory!
