Day 44 ✝️ (long read )
I haven’t ran this one back in a while. Song Title “The Light” (link in bio) this was back in 2016. I really write from the heart about life experiences that I know I can express very well through music. Now when it comes to talkin to me , not so much lol. Which is part of the reason I write and record , is to express myself. It has never been to get famous, or to get attention. Or to get rich.
.
So leave me outta those categories. I honestly know my gift is bigger than me. It actually has nothing to do with me. Use me for an example of what it looks like when God wants to use you. Just pay attention 🪬 Yea I’m rough around the edges but still ready and willing to be used by the most high. For Him to receive all the glory.
.
Fun fact I don’t even like attention like that. But I like when people pay attention to what I’m sayin and the gems I drop in these songs. I’m not like any other artist. Not saying I’m better. I’m just me and Thts why I love artistry, because every single person is different. And every single person has something special that only they can bring to the table.
.
But back to this song. I wrote this because this was during the time of #georgefloyyd and #philandocastile murders and I was fed tf up so I wrote a song about it. About the #senseless killings from cops and our own kind. I could go on and own. I been talkin like this, but I just hope y’all get the message. Thts all I’m here for to show you what creativity and evolution looks like. I do it for purpose .. not for pleasure.
.
S/O to every single person tht pulled up and made it happen I’ll never forget how suprised I was tht all of y’all came out for little old me 🥰 but now I know it was because y’all believed in me‼️ And for tht I thank y’all 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Imma tag who I can remember .. some of y’all I don’t even speak to anymore. But In tht moment it was nothin but love, light , and appreciation .. s**t if u see you, tag yoself lol.

I really woke up last November 2022, and haven’t looked back since. Finally focused on self, an I think thats what God was waiting on all this time from me. Now everything has been going in fast forward. So with God having my back, a few solid team players by my side, and alot of haters under my foot, Can’t nobody stop me BUT me 💯🎯🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
