A month of weaving at @textilecenterhoejer has come to an end. I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had here to focus and learn. Thank you so much for having me and a special thanks to @hanneihojer and Jørn! Thanks to the support from @statenskunstfond, Tage Vanggaard og Hustrus Fond, and Grosserer L.F. Foghts Fond.

The wings of Bombyx mori, the silk moth. Woven with three types of silk thread: thick white mulberry silk, raw unbleached and uncoloured tussah silk, and the finest, airiest green silk from Kyoto, brought home from my trip last autumn. Woven at @textilecenterhoejer in April. 40x60cm

I have just finished a working residency at @textilecenterhoejer , where I worked on the digital TC2 jacquard loom and developed new woven works in silk, wool and linen, alongside prototypes for future projects. These kinds of residencies create space for both development and realisation. Time to focus. Room to unfold. Access to specialised equipment. Thank you to Tekstilcenter Højer 💕 And thanks to @statenskunstfond and Nationalbankens Jubilæumsfond for support.
