POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I went and got what I’m wearing for the wedding today. It took way longer than I’d hoped but we also had to get what everyone else was gonna wear. The last time we went to Paaie it was to look for Kai’s lehenga which I haven’t seen at all. When I went in the store this time I immediately picked out two sherwanis to try one, one was black and one was like a cream color. So I try them both on within the first seven minutes of being in the store and then we spent the next 40 minutes deliberating on which of the two we liked more because they were both heat lowkey. The black one looked better on me but it was lowkey serving Gerard Way Black Parade and the cream one looked better with Kai’s lehenga so that’s what we ended up going with.

As soon as we got home Kai and I went to Occoquan to try Riverside Pizza Factory and man that shit was fire bro. I didn’t know we could find a nice pizza place near us I thought it was all gonna be ghost kitchens but we got a cheese and a stracciatella pizza and they were so fucking fire I’m excited for the leftovers tomorrow. We also got cannoli and tiramisu from there and they were very good but they had Italian sodas that we want to try next time. We also just watched the movie Contagious on the projector because I have to write about it for extra credit which I already talked about. I expected it to suck but I was actually invested because it was literally what it was like working in Covid lowkey so I gotta hand it to them. I’m about to do my little essay about it right now so hopefully it’ll take like 20 minutes okay bye.

I found out today that I had a discussion board due that I didn’t know existed so I hid in a closet and I was spewing straight bullshit in there. It’s sociology so it doesn’t matter what I actually say because eventually I will just talk about capitalism or something like that. It’s been evil in the workplace most of today but not that overwhelming really. I need to write this post quickly so that I can get back to it or else they’re gonna filet me lowkey. I tried to do all my electrical work today in our new room and it did not go successfully. I don’t mean that like I blew everything up it’s just that I disconnected the wiring to my light switch only to find out that it wouldn’t support my dimmer switch and now I have to return it.

I didn’t think it would matter because the actual light fixtures I bought would be able to dim on their own, but I took down my current light fixtures and they’re wired in a way that is so evil that I just put that shit back up. I’m gonna have to figure that shit out in a way that doesn’t set my house on fire or else I’ll have to pay for an electrician and I absolutely don’t want to do that. I’ll try tomorrow to take another swing at it while Kai is at work, but they’re only so much shrugging my shoulders that I can do before I just have to figure my shit out. Also Farrah and Drew are engaged now which is confusing to me I have no idea what to think about this at all okay bye.

My knee stopped being weird because I drank electrolytes and also hydrated who would’ve predicted this. I went climbing again today after dropping Kai off and I felt physically very strong, but it was busy in the bouldering section (four people) and so I didn’t do any super difficult problems which unsettled me. After my climbing I went to Harris teeter for basically just milk and granola bars and coffee because although I hate coffee I really wanna be the kind of guy who drinks black coffee. If any of you have ever see the show MyMusic and remember indie with his Kombucha I wanna be like that.

My cousin came over and he’s like the only person in my life who actually works out too and so I was trying to convince him to climb with me and he agreed so that’s awesome. I’m also trying to get him to read books and I offered him my ereader if he decided he liked reading it while he did his cardio so hopefully he does. This week Kai and I are preparing for our 6 hour drive to olean for her sister’s wedding which I’m sure will be awesome but the drive will be evil. I’m also getting more and more excited about the knives my parents are bringing me the more that I think about it. One day I will get a bunka for myself though tbh. Anyways right now I’m cooking my work slop food so I’m going to finish reading my book okay bye.

I have four hours left of my shift I’m so excited to be freed. Last night I had to get home late because we had a Neuro ICU patient who started crashing after we got her off the table. She like suddenly was like I have to piss myself and then she just went unresponsive and her O2 went down and so I was like oops it’s time to warm up my CPR technique. I actually did hope we got to do CPR a little because I haven’t gotten to in like a year but instead of calling an MSET they just decided to go upstairs for whatever reason. I ended up volunteering to bring them up because no one can pull a bed faster than I can and so I had a fun little field trip.

I got to do a patient with Farrah just now which happens very rarely recently so it was fun but she just exploited me to get her treats. There is something strange at the hospital today but I have no idea what it is. I just have a really weird feeling and the vibe is like different. It’s like the same feeling as like a mid September desolation in the hospital so I don’t know what that’s about. I think there will be some kind of MCI or something today but that’s because I would really enjoy it if there were I need to be redeemed for that bus crash last month I would clutch that thing out. Maybe I’ll have some luck this month but it’s not likely okay bye.

We were supposed to go to a concert today because I bought the tickets months ago and I forgot it was on Juneteenth. I was like oh yeah if we’re not gonna do anything we can see a black jazz fusion band that sounds goated. I did forget that it was today and didn’t realize until like 7:30 so ermm we didn’t go. I’m not saying this was a racist act by us but it could be misconstrued as such.

I’m trying to get into overnight oats as a vehicle by which I can have my protein powder and not throw up. Drinking protein shake is like my least favorite part of the day because that shit makes me explode really and I wanted a tasty sweet breakfast that isn’t a sugary cereal. I tried to be an oats guy like 4 years ago and it was too gloopy but I’ve been seeing all this tech and I was gonna give it a shot this time. The goal is that I make something that is of similar consistency to like sogged cocoa krispies that would be nice. I also got Greek yogurt which I am not a fan of but Kai recommended chobani to me because I wanted something of a pudding like consistency.

We brought everything home a bit ago but I didn’t consider like where I’d be assembling and containing the ingredients so everything right now is on hold until I lock in and find some Tupperware or something. We also got this boxed Mac and cheese we wanted to try because it was 5 dollars for two boxes but that shit was ass bro idk why. It was like kind of sweet and didn’t taste like cheese and the packaged cheese was like a thick ass sauce it was weird. Kai agreed to eat the remainder of it in her endless greed so hopefully it’ll be done and I can eat chicken curry tomorrow. We are going on a quest tomorrow to get Kai a job nearby so wish them luck okay bye.

Oh hell yes game 3 of nba finals. The spurs won by 4 because the evil man ruined the karma for literally everybody in New York City. I think all Knicks fans will curse and doom him for all time. I was actually bantering with an old black cop who wanted the Knicks to win because he hated wemby and this is the only time I’ll voluntarily associate with a cop tbh but I owned his ass so I don’t gaf. We had a crazy trauma patient also because he got his eyes gouged out with a knife. Apparently the story is that he was sleeping in bed and we woke up and his fucking one eye was gone.

Not only that but he got up and his upper lip was split until his nose and he saw his eye on the ground of his room and it was squished like somebody had stepped on it. Now he says that he doesn’t know what happened and he just woke up but we think that he got knocked out and then they diddled his ass bro. I hope to not live a life that leads to me getting my eyes gouged out freak style in my sleep but I imagine at least one of you would do that to me. Oh shit yeah I saw the knife wounds in his ocular cavity it did look like some creepypasta shit it was fucked up I wonder what that guys up to okay bye.
