Birthday dump 🤎 Still on ☁️ nine because I have the realest group of Day 1’s a girl could ask for. Showed up and showed out is an understatement. I got everything I desired as I brought in 28 surrounded by love! Cheers to many more with my people 🥂

Ever since elementary school, whenever someone asks “what do you want to be when you grow up?”, I’ve answered “a veterinarian”. This weekend that dream finally became reality! My journey to the finish line has not been an easy one to say the least, so I’m extra ecstatic to reintroduce myself as Dr. Autumn Elaine Silva, DVM! 🩺👩🏽‍⚕️

I could not have achieved this goal without the unwavering love and support from my parents and my sister. They’ve been there for me every step of the way, no matter the distance between us, and there aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for them 🤍 Being so far from home was tough and so I am incredibly thankful for the SGU friends that became family. They understand me like no one else and I know that I can always count on them 🇬🇩 To the rest of y’all that have been on this journey with me - my extended family, my friends, Dr. Pinney & Jessica & the staff at MPC Clinic back home, those I met during my time at LSU, and anyone else I may have missed - thank you for joining me on this wild ride and for supporting me 🩷

Graduation in New York was the perfect ending to this chapter of my life and I can’t wait to see what the next one holds! 🐶🐱

We want to wish two of our VOICE alums all the best as they journey into their clinical year schools! Antonia M. Nickleberry will be going to The Ohio State, and Teylor Nealy will be going to North Carolina State University. These ladies worked hard to restart VOICE and laid a solid foundation for generations to follow! We are so proud of you ladies and cannot wait to see the immense success we know you both will achieve not only during your clinical years but beyond as excellent Vets!!
