🚨Incoming Fall 2026🚨 Please join us in welcoming Quinteze Jones to the Rio Rugby family this fall. Quinteze joins us from Cincinnati, Ohio where he has been playing rugby for Withrow High School. When he is not playing rugby, he enjoys watching Anime and playing video games. We are looking forward to seeing Quinteze take the field for Rio Rugby and helping our boys tear it up at Red Valley!! 🔴🌪️ #readyready 🏉🏉 🇺🇸🇺🇸 #rugby #riogrande #redstorm #collegerugby

Over 80 players from eight states nominated to try out over four days. Only 24 selected. Two of them were Withrow ruggers. Congratulations to junior Quinteze Jones and senior Jubilee Gordon!

Repping themselves, their families, Withrow, Cincinnati Public Schools, Cincinnati, Ohio, and NOW the MIDWEST! Onward...

We nominated four outstanding Withrow ruggers to the Midwest Rugby Union leadership to try out for the All-Midwest Team (U-18 Thunderbirds) last week.

They were: senior Jubilee Gordon, junior Quinteze Jones, junior Milton White, and junior Ja'Cari Carter.

From Wednesday evening through Saturday (including two-a-day sessions on Thursday and Friday), they went through the paces with the best players from eight states (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin), receiving instruction from some of the best age-grade and collegiate coaches in the country.

It was a tremendous opportunity to test themselves against great comp, receive encouragement along with constructive criticism, and grow!!! We do not take opportunities like this for granted.

Extending congratulations to two of our young men who were selected for the All-Ohio Aviators team after their performance in the season and regional all-star games.

Jubilee Gordon (junior)
Quinteze Jones (sophomore)

While both were unable to participate in the Buckeye Invitational tourney vs other state all-star squads due to football commitments, we want to honor and celebrate them!!
