Jan-March 2026: first quarter of the year felt like it wouldn’t slow down and let me breathe, but clearly it was still fun. I have great things planned for the rest of 2026 & I can’t wait to live in the moment and enjoy it all 🩶

2024 in review

-finally hit the stage with best friends in @farooqmosh and it’s been the absolute best. i can’t thank @vxdedxv for giving me a chance, it’s been an absolute dream drumming for one of my favorite hardcore bands.
-been running the percussion program at El Diamanté for the last two years, i still some great culture with some eager young minds. it also helps that i work with my absolute favorite people.
-finished up year 3 on the instructional side for @bcdrumline and it was a special year with these 9 individuals. they were relentless and it was absolutely inspiring to be teaching among the best in the activity, and teaching such incredible individuals.
-got to see some amazing bands with my dad this year, the offspring, primus, and the almighty TOOL. thankful for seeing some of the best bands with my main influencer of my music taste. always going to cherish these memories.

thankful to make it through another year. never felt more like myself, and couldn’t have made it through without my support system. you know who you are, i love you all endlessly. the difficult days are far less frequent and i’m looking forward to even more growth and happier days ahead. life is full of love. i’m thankful to be alive; still.

I have not been good about posting updates so here’s a bad collage from April & May 2024 🧍🏼‍♀️

•Finished the indoor season with some wins. Teaching at 2 schools was a lot but I had fun.
•Scored a $10k grant for the EcoCenCal board I’m on
•Got my first work grant (through the Central Valley Women’s Conference)
•Spent some time enjoying the outdoors with friends, watched a few talented friends perform, joined in on some community events and end of the school year celebrations

My best friend is competing in Dayton, Ohio this week for WGI World Championships. I just wanted to let her know that she has friends from home cheering her on! ❤️

Feeling very thankful for my friends & everyone that took time to wish me a happy birthday yesterday. I’m really soaking up those moments of love & normalcy during this chaotic time 💕
