One year ago today - a group of Oregon wedding vendors banded together to provide a safe space and event for LGBTQIA+ couples to get legally married for free. From start to finish it was organized in about a week and a half. I’m still in awe of how the whole vendor team pulled it off so beautifully (and COVID safely too). We legally married 10 couples that day, and each of those couples carried with them so many stories of their love and lives. ⁣There were hugs, heartfelt vows, tears, joy, tender first dances, and so many faces beaming with love. ⁣

Taylor & Lewis - our second couple of the day who got married at the Marriage-athon. They were such a sweet and bubbly couple and the love they share was so tender & beautiful. I’ll leave you with a passage from Taylor’s handwritten vows (shared with permission) in poetry format. Let me know if this hits you in the feels the same way it did me 😭⁣
