the best parts of my day is when we laugh at the dogs while they’re doing completely normal things. i love that we touch base thru memes on days when the communication is low cuz we’re both working. those moments when you’re presenting your case on how the girl math all balances out after 10 packages from random shops show up at our garage, i find endearing. 13 years later im still completely smitten. i’m happy we’re in this together cuz without you i’d probably still be wildin out in these streets making bad decisions on the daily.

My name is Almendra Fuentes • I’m 5”4 • I’m represented by @airetalent and I’m available for the shooting dates ⭐️ in NY, LA, LATAM and ATL

Can’t believe it’s been more than 10 years since I decided to moved to the U.S to pursue acting without knowing English.

This year I learned the hard way to be kind to myself. As Artists we tend to put so much pressure into our craft and if you’re like me your determination and discipline will take you very far. Sometimes you’ll cross oceans for your dreams, sometimes states, sometimes you’ll answer a calling in your heart and will deny everything else because you feel you’re so close to that which you know you’ve worked so hard for… but even while arriving where I wanted to, I had forgotten to look within.

The chase to always want more, and achieve the next great thing can leave you blind to your own needs. So yes, I hit rock bottom, and life taught me to be grateful to something as simple as getting up, sleep and walk or eat.

A much needed break, and a system reset of counting blessings, and a support system of those who love me has lifted my heart and spirit to continue walking the journey of my acting career at a pace that I can handle. I’m so grateful to have the support. I don’t take it for granted, because I know some people don’t have that and it breaks my heart.

Thank you to my family, friends, agents, mentors, coaches. ❤️‍🔥

Happy birthday to my kid brother. Crazy that we are both in our 40’s now and what a life and what a journey it’s been. I’m in awe at all that you have accomplished and built from the ground up. You did that. Keep being the crazy, authentic, artistic, incredibly talented and passionate human that you are. You inspire me to find the true grit within myself every day through how you live your life. I’m proud of you. Dad’s proud of you. I love you.
