Loneliness can come in different seasons and stages of a woman’s life. I’ve recently heard mind blowing statistics of how many women, specifically from the age of 30-65, are lonely.

There are a lot of things that happen to a woman during these years. Ages of kids change, possible job change, marriage changes, health changes, body changes, hormone changes, community and relationship changes.

I’ve been in community marketing for 16 years and as I’ve gotten older I appreciate having other women in my life who truly care and bring a peace that is so needed. Surrounding myself with likeminded people even though we have a lot of differences. I value it all.

These women speak like into me. Each have a gift that is worthy to be shared. The memories from this week are full of joy, happiness, laughs, smiles, celebrating, & excitement. We cherish our time together and can’t wait for when we can get together again💚

That’s what I want surrounding me and bringing even more into this circle. Because I know what an encouraging circle of women can do for someone and what that woman can do for the circle. It’s a powerful thing.

Thank you Jesus for these women and others to come. Our health is better for it.

Seeing so many amazing people come together, move, connect, and support one another reminded me exactly why I love doing this. Your energy, smiles, and enthusiasm made the day so special, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank you for showing up, trusting me, and being part of this community. I already can’t wait for the next one! ✨🧘‍♀️🤍

A sign of a great day is when your friend says, “This has been my all time favorite Mahjong day ever!”

It’s kinda like that book…If You Give a Mouse a Cookie kinda story…

What’s started with a super fun fame night at our recent team retreat on a lake in Texas this past winter. (That’s another fun story!)

Turned into me posting locally looking for a Mahjong instructor to teach me how to play.

Enter Tracy and Suzette….they answered my call and offered to teach me. They wanted to get a league going out in western MA and were excited to get more folks to play.

This led to me saying…HEY, let’s have class here at my house 🤣 (Lucky Craig!)

This then led to 4 weeks of me having 14 people over to all learn this super fun and addictive game!

That then led to a round 2 class for those that couldn’t do round one!

In the middle of all this…we birthed our new Mahjong group on FB called The Sunken Dragon Mahjong Guild (go follow it 😘)

ANNNDDDDDDD….that now brings us to today! A 5 hour open play game day on my back deck in the most stunning 65 degree weather, delicious pot luck luncheon, and the most incredible company!

PHEW!

Important tid bits form all this:

💚 You are never too old to learn something new
💚 Do it even if it’s scary
💚 Stop being Covid lazy (yes, that’s a real thing)
💚 Meet new people, they really can be amazing
💚 Your brain will appreciate learning this game
💚 Community really is special, and important

Want in on another round of classes, or game time…pop on our new FB page and connect with us 🥰
