After a gloomy weekend last week, Saturday brought the heat and the house was sprung. Spring got the memo late but it finally arrived.

The lineup had legs crisscrossing all night. Everyone showed up drenched in energy, drenched in love for the music, nobody stood still, nobody stayed stiff.

This past weekend, Melrose became the backdrop for a different kind of match, fashion versus occasion.

Three looks, three palettes, one thread, dressing

The Soirée: Wimbledon Edition didn’t play, the fits translated court side into pure elegance. Wimbledon-inspired looks took over, the sun cooperated, and the crowd? Nothing but class.

Crisp whites, tennis skirts with attitude, and that golden hour light doing exactly what it needed to do. This is what happens when Mzansi takes a British tradition and gives it soul.

DJ TSHEGU, C-BLAK & FATSO 98 HEADLINE THE RETURN OF HOUSE OF YMZ: WINTER EDITION

Winter in Joburg simply hits different when @houseofymz is on the calendar. Returning this Saturday, the RSVP-only indoor experience brings the music closer than ever, with guests surrounding the DJ for the intimate atmosphere that has made it a seasonal favourite.

This weekend’s lineup speaks for itself. Leading the charge is @djtshegu with an electrifying amapiano set & yes, she’ll be bringing the dance moves too.

Joining her are @fatso_mpyatona and @c__blak , with deep house taking centre stage. Fresh off the release of The XO Effect 3, @fatso_mpyatona is expected to bring fan favourites like What Is House Music? And Life & Music, while debutants @tumi_moliko & @boujeena__ join returning crowd favourites @djmajola & @deeptee_rsa .

No tickets will be sold online or at the door, & screenshots won’t be accepted.

The House of YMZ Watch Party follows on 11 June when RSA takes on Mexico.

On 31 May 2026, Kromdraai Impact Hub was awash in pink as the highly anticipated Cotton Candy Edition took over. It was a celebration of fashion, creativity, & self-expression.

From blush & bubblegum to hot pink & every shade in between, guests fully embraced the brief.

@djstopper set? Underrated while Ten Oceans received a standing ovation with a standout set. Boujeena brought Afrobeats energy, & Dee Traits closed with a Gqom set.

RocoMamas kept guests satisfied with crowd-pleasing burgers & their ever-popular chips.
