I WANT TO APPEAL TO OUR GENERATION ESPECIALLY THE YOUTHS OF Ebonyi State TO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT POLITICS IS NOT A BUSINESS AND CAN NEVER BE A BUSINESS.

Politics Is a Calling to Serve.
Politics should not be treated as a business or a means of personal enrichment. At its best, politics is an opportunity to serve God and humanity by using leadership, influence, and public resources for the betterment of society.
A political leader is entrusted with the responsibility to protect the dignity of people, promote justice, create opportunities, strengthen communities, and care for those who are vulnerable. Public office is therefore not merely a position of power; it is a responsibility and a moral trust.
When politics becomes a business, personal interests can take priority over the common good. Corruption, selfish ambition, and the pursuit of wealth can replace integrity and service. But when politics is understood as a calling to serve, leadership becomes an expression of love for humanity and stewardship before God.
True political leadership asks not, “What can I gain from the people?” but, “What can I contribute to improve the lives of the people?”
The measure of a successful political leader should not simply be wealth, status, or power, but the positive and lasting impact made on society.
Politics is not about serving oneself through the people; it is about serving the people with the gifts and opportunities entrusted to us by God.
If we all can change our mindset and accept the raw fact that politics is not a business nor a game but a calling to serve then making Ebonyi state become the best place in the world will be achieved soonest.
One love❤️
