First single from new band Silica based in South London. On an alternative rock type beat. Link in the usual place and streaming soon enough.

Thanks to Ben at @fuzzbrainmusic for recording, @martinruffin for mixing and mastering and @ozzbot76 for help with the artwork. Four song EP to be released later this month.

This is a song I wrote when I was 20 about travelling space with my mum after she got diagnosed. Cardiff heads that were around during the 105 house shows era may recognise this one from the Bobby Zubrin days (big love @serteebeats )

@layback_420 ‘s EP is shipping now and had so much fun working with @ozzbot76 from the band on this one because it showcases everything I love about releasing records which is paper nerdery and a DIY team effort. Thank you to @big.sainsburys for letting me almost destroy your risograph machine fitting through 260gsm hammered paper stock, @maggotdeath666 for the screenprinted stickers as well as of course @ozzbot76 ‘s awesome art and @chupacabalarial ‘s photography which has brought @layback_420 ‘s music to physical life! Due to rising costs it’s getting harder these days to make a 7” with a pro printed sleeve and all the bells and whistles whilst keeping it a decent price for you guys to pick up but tbh this looks way cooler imho! #ukhc #nwobhc
