Taste of Soul LA… I’m still full as I write this!
🍽️💎🎉 Mom and I had a TIME! It was our first time attending, and I’m so glad we got to experience this wonderful event. Of course, we came hungry and ready to eat!

First stop: @island2tablepattyhut because why not start the day with coco bread, a veggie patty, and pineapple soda? 😋 I was smiling the whole day after that! We also tried Kenyan food for the first time from @rafikizfoodz : coconut rice with plantain stew and collard greens. Everything was fresh and seasoned beautifully.

Then we stopped by @hughshotbowls to support and enjoy some of the best vegan tacos in LA! 🌮🔥 And you know I was on the hunt for some goooood mac and cheese. @sevenplatesla came through with the candied yams and mac n’ cheese. Delicious! I was truly in heaven. 🤤

Great music, great people, and delicious food everywhere. Everyone was smiling, dancing, and making their way from one tasty bite to the next. You just had to be there! 🤩🪩💃🏽

Next year, I’ll be back and saving room for all the desserts! My stomach was stuffed and happy. Talk about starting the weekend off right! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
