The set of Canary in Stockinette, the final movement of Unspun. This one has @chenoaanderson playing live flute along to a beat I made from a recording of amplified knitting. We are picking it up a notch here with daydreams of Ukrainian dancing! Stay tuned for that…. #unspunanimated #yegarts #stopmotionanimator #yeganimation

Good morning! I love starting my day with @muttlovephotography and @thalitadol bringing this sleepy lady to life. Animating is so delightful 😁☕️#yegarts #unspunanimated #stopmotion #yeganimation

Hard at work bringing things to life on the set of “Unspun”, a stop motion animation music video for my piece of the same name commissioned by @chenoaanderson. This is the second movement, which explores embracing one’s artistic practice to counter the ills of waking with illness, chronic pain and mobility impairment. So happy and honoured to be working with Edmonton artists @thalitadol, @muttlovephotography and @samueldtaylor to bring this animation alive, and to Chenoa and @soundsgreat78 for the flute performance and audio engineering. Thank you @yegarts for making this project possible 🫶🌟 watercolour forest background painting and coffee cup by @burgeoning111 ; nightstand, armoire and chair frame by @odettelackeyart #unspunanimated #stopmotionanimator #yegarts #fibreartistsofinstagram #yeganimation
