POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

📣 Today is AusArt Day; a nationwide opportunity to acknowledge the importance of the arts, and for artists and arts organisations to raise funds for our work on a single day.

I’m also saving to move to Berlin, and would love to offload some of my stock before I leave. If you’ve said you’d like to buy one of my photobooks but haven’t, I’d love for you to order a copy and give it a new home.

A little about the books:
“Thank you for letting me be myself” (first 10 photos)
Receiving my Autism and ADHD diagnosis prompted me to reflect on the key supports in my life, one of them being the people in these images. Part love letter to my community, part reminder that we are less alone than we think. This collaborative work draws from my 14 year photography archive and celebrates friendship, neurodiversity, and reclaiming space.

“me, us” (photos 11-18)
For the last six years, I have been a disability support worker for Sonny. Our collaborative book shows glimpses of Sonny’s house, us in the world, our engagement with nature, and back home again. The book celebrates incremental growth, friendship, routine, and being more than our labels.

Both books received funding from Creative Australia through the @ausculturalfund and were shortlisted for the 2026 Australia & New Zealand Photobook Awards. “Thank you for letting me be myself” was presented alongside an exhibition installation at @yarrasculpturegallery for the 2025 @psccreativecollege grad show @unfold_psc_au The series received a Highly Commended in the 2025 @ballaratfoto ‘GradFoto’, and was chosen for the 2026 ‘Develop’ exhibition at @maph_photography

I’ve dropped the price on both books on my online shop (link in bio), and will share the prints that I’m selling in my story. If you know someone who might be interested, I’d love you to share this with them, and or for you to share this post so it can reach more people ❤️

No excuses. No "I'll catch the next one" 👀

Where We Speak Vol. 2 is TONIGHT!!!

A room full of artists you've been meaning to see. Poetry that'll sit with you on the ride home. Music that'll have you asking, "why haven't I heard them before?" And a community that's building something special, one night at a time.

The ones that pull up always say the same thing: "I can't believe I almost missed this."

LINE UP:
🇸🇴 SUBAN NUR COOLEY
🇿🇼 TARIRO MAVONDO
🇿🇼 THAMSON.P
🇸🇸 JAG

Don't let tonight become another "I saw it on my feed."

🗓 TONIGHT - Friday, 17 July

📍 High Note, Northcote

🎟 Tickets are moving. Link in bio.

See you in the room. We'll save you a vibe, not a seat.

Now that the storm has settled from the weekend, I just wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who came through to the Stained Ivory launch on Friday night, It was truly a night for the ages.

To have so many people on the bill who have been close friends and collaborators of 20 years plus made the night so special, what a way to close this chapter.

Here are a few of the amazing photos taken by @ben.realiser - beautifully captured.

To the band and our guests it was such an honour and a privilege sharing the stage with you: @mikkifrompreston @choiproductions @jchinquan @diego_music_art @craveone7 & @fludust

And to everyone else we shared the stage with, couldn’t think of a better way to set it off @pangproductions @nelson.dialect @mustvolkoff @oneslashsix @koots.pang @dyl_thomas_pang @joe.snow.pang @thisisgracechia @thamson.p @vawnagraphic & @pedro_conejo_

Thanks to @my_names_george & @ed_swerd for filming & @jazmishap for the epic paintings/illustrations

Last of all thanks to @northcotesocialclub for hosting us again, your venue is by far my favourite venue in melbourne to perform at.

📢 WHERE WE SPEAK (OPEN MIC) - ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

THAMSON.P (@thamson.p)

If you know... you know.

And if you don't? This is your homework.

Zimbabwean, Naarm-based, Thamson.P is one of those rappers who makes other rappers step their pen up. Sharp bars, real stories and the kind of presence that doesn't need to shout to own a room.

Around here? He's genuinely one of our favourites doing it 🙌🏾

No industry hype. No algorithms. Just an elite pen game and music that sticks with you long after the set's finished.

We're gassed to have Thamson.P joining the Where We Speak (Vol.2) lineup!

🎧 TRACKLIST 8TH JULY 🎧

Apparently I broke Mixcloud there is rules your only supposed to play a certain number of songs per artists or per project and looks like I played too much Traz and Discourse 😮‍💨🤣 so you can’t listen back apologies! 🫣

But anyway the TRACKLIST had alot of Traz & Discourse projects and we played most of the artists who are going to be at the Stained Ivory Launch this Friday.

We also played @thisisgracechia with @nelson.dialect from her latest album ‘The Human Grey’ which is out today!
