Malaysian professional squash player Thanusaa Uthrian continued her impressive form by winning the UTU Singapore Challenger 2026 women’s title, held from 1 to 5 July at the Kallang Squash Centre, Singapore. The victory marks the biggest PSA title of her career, with Thanusaa overcoming higher-ranked opponents throughout the tournament. She battled past Harleein Tan in a thrilling five-game semi-final before defeating fellow Malaysian K. Sehveetrraa in the final after her opponent retired due to an ankle injury, while Siow Yee Xian claimed the men’s championship.

The Singapore triumph is Thanusaa’s third PSA title of 2026, following victories at the T-Force Pro Challenger Series in the United States and the WA Open International in Australia. After recovering from a lengthy injury setback that affected her world ranking, her latest success reflects her resilience, determination, and consistent performances, further establishing her as one of Malaysia’s rising squash talents on the international stage.
