There's an undescribable feeling that I strongly get about this photo summing up the past year in numerous ways. I learned that the holistic human experience is just so universally the same regardless of where we are physically, mentally and culturally present. Giving in, letting go, discovering, re-discovering, setbacks, small wins, self-doubt, sprinkles of fun. I had the pleasure and also the discomfort of experiencing it all. And it just makes one appreciate this warped and twisted phenomenon that we call "life" and embrace the hand that is dealt. Things don't always go the way we plan it to be, but I guess that isn't a bad thing anyway? Life is short- snooze it or lose it. Carpe fucking Diem- let's go.
