What a full circle moment. 1st call outs at the @npc_kybourbon_state IFBB Men’s Physique Pro show.

4 years ago around this time @thasweetjones did his first show at the Kentucky State. We finished with some 2nd places but got some good feedback. I remember telling him after he got off stage, “I’ve got you, give us another year, we will get it.” I hold myself to my word and anyone who works with me knows I’ll put my all in to you if you reciprocate that effort.

The next year we got an overall and one spot away from a pro card, finally finishing it off the following year with a pro card win. This year we did our pro debut and we met one of our first goals of getting a 1st call out finishing 8th.

I found myself in a full circle moment realizing everything we have done so far, showing up competing as a pro at the same show we began our journey in and saying the same thing. “Let’s keep going, I’ve got you”. I say that and I know I’ll get the same back. Malcolm has truly become like family to us at this point. I see the future and know what we can do. We just have to keep showing up. We brought an insane look and will only get better here. The feedback we got and the insight we received has me so excited for the future.

We are on our way. Let’s get it.

Pics taken 4 weeks out for @thasweetjones! One more stop this year for the rookie season and we’ve been using our time wisely to bring it even better for stop 2.

Very happy to see a pro show back in Kentucky!

Pro Debut in the books for @thasweetjones!

We wanted to choose a hard show to get to see the physique next to some of the best in the world and we got to do just that. Around 8 Olympians in the first call out and we finished near center of 3rd call outs.

Our feedback from judges and coaches who I value was exactly what we need to keep this going. The size and structure are there. We really brought a look that was competitive and I had quite a few say it was one of the best backs on stage.

We just need to bring a little bit drier and fine tune some details. Fullness I felt was perfect and it’s small things from here. Pro level is where you must just continously make improvments and keep showing up better which we will do!

Proud of this dude and he’s become like a brother to me over the years. We were able to sit and game plan backstage for hours yesterday and even get some more data post prejudging to see what we could do. Brought an even tighter look to night show.

Now our next show is planned and we keep working. Truly this is just the beginning of the pro journey we’ve worked almost 5 years for now. Time to keep working and reach those new levels.
