At 13, I was so lost I didn't know where life was taking me. I felt like I didn't fit in and no one truly understood me. I turned to music and somehow found comfort in this small, basically non existent, asian boy group and became obsessed. Everyone around me were so confused as to why I loved a group I couldn't understand, so I "stopped" listening to them. After many years of listening to them in secret, they grew into a platform that I couldn't even begin to fathom. My one true dream was to see them in concert and to be a part of the community that saved my life. Now, 12 years later and 24 failed birthdays attempts, at 25 I was able to fulfill that dream. No words could ever describe the happiness I felt in that moment. I wonder what 13 year old me would've reacted like knowing we finally got to see BTS and be part of a purple ocean on our birthday no less. I finally got to cry tears of joy on the day I dread the most. Hands down best birthday ever. 💜💜💜

Today's #ThrowbackThursday returns us to The Jackson Ducky Derby of 2019.

The League of Enchantment had a quacking good time at Cascades Park in Jackson, MI, for the 2019 Ducky Derby. The Ducky Derby is a great fundraiser for the Jackson County American Cancer Society Relay For Life. They sell rubber duckies that attendees that adopt and race down the cascade's waterfall.

We look forward to attending again next year. #leagueofenchantment
