I’m so bad with Porsches it’s laughable.

This cheeky little number is the current steed of @that_guy_called_gi

I can’t profess to know a lot about Gi’s history, but I’m pretty sure it’s featured a few very nice Porsches through the years.

Everyone peer pressure him into bringing this to the meet at spit and sawdust I reckon.

Now that there’s an upcoming meet in the books and announced, it’s the perfect time to look back at our last modest gathering.

🐾 Canines and Cars. We’re often seeing owners being along their canine companions to our events, it’s always a lovely chilled out atmosphere full like minded people catching up with old friends or making new ones.

Spirit Motor Club - Fuelling Conversations™️

On Saturday 12th October we had the pleasure of having 65 Porsche cars and 150+ people at our exclusive event with @the.smallest.cog, the car restoration business owned by Richard Hammond and featuring on television series on @discoveryplusuk, “Richard Hammond’s Workshop”.

We are grateful to the team at The Smallest Cog as well as @richardhammond himself who very kindly took the time to come along to the event and spent much time chatting with attendees - a huge thank you sir!

Thank you all who attended and those who helped on the day for their incredible support - including our pal Simon who was on hand taking photos for us! Cheers, David & Owain.

🎗️£2 from each ticket to support The Smallest Cog Team’s chosen good cause, the West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre.

Cracking day on Saturday. Still buzzing from it and the feedback. At some point I'll stop mentioning it on here, promise.

Thanks to all who came to our @spiritmotorclub event @the.smallest.cog , as always it's the people that make the events. Big thanks to @isaacmarriott1 for spending much of the time upside down, and of course Lewis for helping to organise things at the Cog end and Mr @richardhammond for being with us. Thanks also to our friends @porschecentrenewport__ for rocking a beautiful 992 GT3, non club sport. 👌

Still chuckling at the amount of muddy Porsche's that rolled in! Thanks Herefordshire you saved me as I didn't get chance to clean mine! 😂

See you at our next one, back to Tiny Rebel Brewery on 8th November. For tickets @spiritmotorclub

Like the hoodies? Have a look at our merch shop too. Next order deadline 30th November, delivery in time for Christmas.

Oh and go and catch up with Richard Hammonds workshop on @discoveryplusuk to see where we were.

🎗️£370 raised for @tidy_butt charity since we started in May! Thank you to all who attend!

🔗 We love creating an environment for people to connect over their shared passion for cars; when we connect with like-minded people we improve our wellbeing and our mental health, the endorphins flow and we feel good.

🚀 As Porsche owners ourselves our first events will be focused on developing a Porsche as well as wider motoring community in South Wales within the club - we can’t wait to see this grow over the next six months.
