This International Stage Management Day, Tennessee Valley Players would like to recognize our Stage Managers from our productions from the last five years.
As a community theatre organization, it takes a village to put together a show, both on the stage and off.
We would like to thank these dedicated individuals who have given so much to TVP and we are very grateful for all they have done for us over the years!

What. A. Ride. Thank you to this wonderful cast and crew for the joy and memories, thank you to everyone who came from far and near to see our show, and thank you to my parents for letting me live with them for 2 months during rehearsals/performances.

I am so sad that our run is now over, but I can walk away knowing that I gave my all every night to be the best Gaston that I could be. And after my 3 and 1/2 year hiatus from the theatre, it feels great to say: I’m so back baby😎

This was my first community theatre production ever and with Tennessee Valley Players and I couldn't have had more fun with these people. It was so much fun working with everyone and Assistant Stage Managing to one of the best Stage Managers ever!Just like every live theatre production, there was a lot of chaos, but it was good chaos. From disappearing props and chairs, confetti blasters, and a theatre phantom, the cast and crew of Beauty and The Beast became such a huge part of my life and helped me through a lot. I cannot wait for next summer's production and I will miss everyone that I became close with and the people I didn't get to talk to as much. I love you all and I can't wait to see you all again! ❤❤

🎶 And for once it might be grand…to have someone understand…I want so much more than they’ve got planned… 🎶

Over 2 months, 30 plus rehearsals, 10 performances, and countless hours and laughs later, Tennessee Valley Players closes the beautiful musical, Beauty and the Beast for the Knoxville Community 💛

I could say a million things about how much I have loved being even just a small part of the ensemble of this show, but one phrase sums it all up:

Thank you Jesus 🌹

Thank you Jesus for the friends I have made. Thank you Jesus for the the opportunity to sing and perform again. Thank you Jesus for music and theatre. Thank you Jesus for all who have supported me and loved me. And thank you Jesus for all the Knoxville arts community — for their love of music and performing that is so abundant, that we’re all willing to put so much time to create something for our community, friends, and family for no reason other than love. 💛

I never been in a show before in my life and I know for certain there will never be anything like this ever again. Everyone is incredibly talented and just so sweet. I didn’t think I would get into the show after seeing the talent around me at auditions but I’m so glad I got to be apart of such an experience. God doesn’t make mistakes and he knew what he was doing when he put us all together. Today was Professor Wentzel’s last studio class. This year he retires after being at @utksom for 25 years!!

He will be greatly missed, but we wish him well on this next phase of life!
