Sharing some memories of past Eid celebrations. I’m not sure how it’s been over a month since Ramadan began and more than a week since Eid. This was probably the fastest I’ve experienced the holy month going by. I’m always asked why I take so many photos of literally everything and it’s because I just don’t want to forget. I’ve never enjoyed my life the way I’m doing right now. My 30s feel like my teenage years and my twenties. I’m finally getting to live my life and enjoy it Alhamdulillah. If there comes a time where I’ll forget it all, I’ll have loved ones show me photos and videos of all my past memories because I genuinely don’t remember most of my childhood, teenage years or my early twenties. Keep cherishing every second of your life. Every happy memory counts as something special no matter the size.

Dakwa 🇸🇩 a Sudanese dish made with eggplant, peanut butter, and a whole lot of love.

While I was making this, I couldn’t stop thinking about Sudan, a country rich in culture, music, and gold, yet suffering one of the worst genocides happening right now. Nations and corporations exploiting Sudan’s gold and resources while innocent people suffer.

👉 Speak up. Share what’s happening.
👉 Boycott those funding this war — especially the UAE, which profits from Sudan’s stolen gold.
👉 Support verified aid organizations helping Sudanese civilians.
👉 Pray for Sudan, but also act for Sudan.

I learned this recipe from a Sudanese creator — @that_zol

May we never stop speaking their names, their stories, and their truth.

🥣 Dakwa Ingredients:
• 1 large eggplant, fried in sesame oil
• ¼ cup peanut butter
• ¼ cup plain yogurt
• 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
• 1 jalapeño, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, chopped
• Salt & pepper to taste

What is happening in Sudan 🇸🇩 is beyond devastation! And happening for years now and people have not only turned a blind eye to but have stolen slogans snd campaigns and flipped to script to fit their needs right now what Sudan needs is your prayers and donations. And for the UAE 🇦🇪 to be held accountable for its actions! Boycott the UAE and donate to help the starving and displaced people of Sudan! #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #sudan 🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩
