MY FIRST BLACK CARPET EXPERIENCE! 🖤🎤🔥 Sometimes saying YES to something outside your comfort zone is exactly what you need! 🖤🎤🔥 Two weeks ago, I stepped onto the black carpet as a HOST for the very first time, and if you know me, you KNOW I wasn’t going to do it quietly! 😂 I had the absolute privilege of hosting the black carpet interviews on behalf of @thatcreativehubau Hub at @futurationau , an incredible event created by @bennygregs at The Timberyard in Melbourne, celebrating the next generation of dancers, musicians and creatives. And what a NIGHT! Making it even more special was having my gorgeous little stepson Riley as my date. A massive music lover, he was absolutely in his element! ❤️ My role was to bring the black carpet to life! Interviewing directors, choreographers and performers, capturing their excitement, celebrating their stories and creating an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable, confident and ready to shine. And of course, bringing a WHOLE lot of energy along the way! If everyone else’s energy was a 10, mine was a solid 44! 😂🔥 But that’s me. I don’t do things by halves! Was it perfect? Nope. Wardrobe malfunctions? Absolutely! OMG 🫣😔😂 Lessons learnt? Plenty. But that’s what happens when you back yourself, step into something new and give it everything you’ve got. Would I do it again? IN A HEARTBEAT! A massive thank you to Benny and Aydan for trusting me to represent their brand. What these guys are creating for young talent is seriously special. Here’s hoping this was the first of MANY black carpet hosting opportunities! The biggest takeaway? Say YES. Back yourself. And NEVER dim your energy to fit into a room. Because I’m always going to show up as ALL of me! 🖤🔥 @georgia.dabbous @gemmahollingsworth_ @sassycassieness #Futuration #ThatCreativeHub #BlackCarpetHost #YoungTalent #MelbourneEvents

Throwback to a conversation with @johnny_elhalabi Director at @therealestestate. Funny how you think you know someone so well, but put the phones away for an hour and you realise there’s still so much you don’t know. Always something to learn from the people around you 🤝
