Holy Moly!!! How is my tiny 5lbs 14oz baby 5 YEARS OLD!! She is so smart and the funny most caring person! But don’t let her fool you because this girl like has an attitude of a 16 year old. She is FINALLY into princess (I’ve only been trying her whole life) and HARRY POTTER (FINALLY!!! Haha) but still loves dinosaurs, Paw Patrol, Gravity Falls and have added some Jack Skeleton, Elsa, Big Green City, and Bobs Burgers to name a few. She loves to color and do her “homework “ (tracing letters/words Ryan prints out) plays with her “pups” (Paw Patrol) and loves Play-Doh and playing with Chiefy Boy. When people say don’t blink they really mean it. Thank you to everyone who came over, texted, and called to wish her a Happy Birthday!! She had an amazing day baking her cake, cupcakes, and brownies with mommy in the morning. Then Aunt Emmy and Aunt Jaiscey came over and we all went to Chuck E. Cheese after Daddy surprised us by coming home early and ended the day with Birthday Cake and sining Happy Birthday (Twice 🤣) with everyone!! Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back Roo!! Happy 5th Birthday to Miss Aubrey Rae!! I hope your day was as amazing as you are!! 🎉🫶🏼🥳🎈

I'm so late with this post, 🙈 but our awesome friend and amazing bike mechanic Adam @we_are_shedbuilt put together the best bike we'll ever own! He worked through all sorts of issues to give us a dialed-in, double bike, speed machine. Gary @courysofbarnegat prepped & repaired the bike, while Kevin @kevintherefinishtech gave us the paintjob of our dreams, Larry @ldpjr gave us a sick AbsoluteBlack oval chainring a few years back that went on the bike and he ferried around parts for us in NJ. Greg @skregtrout at Beachwood Bikes supplied a bunch of parts, Courtney has been an awesome bikey friend for years and has supported us along this journey, and Eric @ericsweeney took all the radical, fancy photos! This bike means so much to us, but what makes it special are the people who helped us get this thing together. I can't thank you guys enough!

This tandem bike dream started at least ten years ago when Ryan and I first rode his parent's tandem around Pensacola and we hit 40mph - we got the bug! 🐞 We bought our bike two years ago in NJ and the paint was rough but the mechanical side still worked, which was surprising since the bike was manufactured in the year 2000. We put a lot of stress on the bike and we knew it would need an overhaul, and definitely some disc brakes, so that's just what we did!

Small & unique US businesses like Appleman Cranks @applemanbicycles and White Industry @whiteind also helped us get this thing rolling in style. Bringing an old US-made bike back to life brings me so much joy. 💓
