☑️TBR planning

Yes, I'm aware that I already posted my ten before the end. And it was ten different books. And why, since I have been such a mood read, am I even trying to plan my reading?

These are all books left over from my 2024 TBR. With your input, I have used them to create my 12 challenge for 2025. I picked the ten shortest books as my December TBR. Will I get through them all? Not a chance. But I had fun making this post.

Several people have agreed to buddy read with me. Let me know if you want to join me for any of these reads.

✨ Last: The Cancer Journals by Audre Lorde- one raised eyebrow moment but otherwise such a good read. Wise words and food for thought as you’d expect.

✨ Now: There’s No Such Thing As An Easy Job & The Wedding Crasher. I can’t remember the last romance novel I read and I felt like switching it up so here we are. It’s taking me a minute to get into but I’m liking the change of pace. I’ve clicked with the former now too and I’m liking it a lot.

✨ Next: I can’t promise but I’m going to try to read Sea of Tranquility next as promised!

2021 was admittedly not the year we were hoping for. And I’m too cynical to think enough will change this year.

That said, I read some great books and I’m hopeful for more great books in 2022!

I also want to share my appreciation for this community. For not only pushing me to read more and providing great recommendations, but also for the friendship, critiques, laughs, justice seeking and more. I wish you all a year full of good books!

And extra big shout outs to @allegedlymari/ @happylettercollective for the badass tote!

And if I missed you in the tags, I love you and I wish you all the same. 😘
