Not every Disney princess gets her happily ever after.
⌛ 🐍 ⌛
For Day 18 of 31 Days of Halloween, Celine Rahman brings us back to the Cave of Wonders with a tribute to Princess Jasmine’s terrifying encounter with Jafar in Disney’s Aladdin. Imprisoned inside a giant hourglass, Jasmine watches helplessly as the sand pours down around her, threatening to bury her alive.
🖤 ✨ 🖤
It’s one of those wonderfully dark moments tucked inside a colorful childhood favorite. We wanted to capture that feeling of desperation as the last grains begin to fall, turning a little Disney magic into something much closer to a nightmare.
⌛ 🧞‍♂️ ⌛
Stay wicked, fiends.

Welcome, Class of 2030! 🧡 We kicked off the year by welcoming 48 new first-year CRS students to campus with a special alumni panel. Joining us were Celine Rahman, '13, founder of her own costume design business, and Eric Devendorf, '15, a former professional basketball player — two proof points that a CRS degree opens doors in every direction. Thank you both for sharing your journeys with our newest members of the Orange Family! 👏

couldn’t have asked for a better costumes team & incredible crew. shout out to the endless overnights, upstate NY humidity x no air conditioning, playabowls (we’re regulars now), the tama-drama scandal, Mushi, jorts, & pyromania. and to all the beautiful friends we’ve made, thank you for an unforgettable summer.
