POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been three (kind of four) publications since GLUH was just an idea in a somewhat intricate mindmap I showed to @itstararock back in 2023!

I think it was through @pesovisuals that I discovered Mixam, which made it possible to test things out and give life to the project overall.

It’s been a whole journey starting from zero design experience, that hugely relied on help from the amazing @prettyinthesix @anniloebig and more recently @mominahaslam

If you’ve been thinking of giving print magazines a shot, this is your sign, and here is a little discount code for you to use on @mixamprint ‘s website —> “GLUH5”.

Ever wondered who was behind Off-Script’s content editing, amazing cover design and our bookbinding workshop?
@mominahaslam is a talented, multifaceted creative and if it wasn’t for her, the entire project wouldn’t have looked half as good. Check out her work and give her a follow!
1. New Deilen - An 8-page newspaper for an environmental utopia town in 2072.
2. Don’t be Evil - A dissertation comparing contemporary multinational corporations to colonial trading companies.
3. Common - A compilation of essays examining the intersection of history and culture, cloth-bound by hand.
4. OWN Magazine - Putting the colonial jewels of Britain back into an Indian context.
5. ROOTS کام - An anthology of women’s stories presented through clothing.
6. The Tequila Bible (Cover Design)
7. Go - A campaign to help students learn about workplace rights.

Art beyond the gallery ✨

Join us at @seventelondon for an evening celebrating the current @pickart_com collection and exploring how hospitality and third spaces can create new opportunities for artists, bring contemporary art into everyday life, and make collecting feel more accessible.

We’ll be in conversation with exhibiting artist @libby__jennifer, @abando.baby Curatorial Director at PickArt, and the Sevente team, talking art, hospitality, collecting and why buying original work doesn’t need to feel intimidating.

Explore works by @abiolaartist, @lewisdeeney , @harissafantini , @thatonesabina and @libby__jennifer , meet artists and creatives over drinks, and for one night only, discover select works at exclusive event prices.
Whether you’re already collecting, thinking about buying your first piece, or simply curious about contemporary art, everyone is welcome 🤍

📅 Monday 28th September
⏰ 6pm–9pm
📍 Sevente, 283 Hackney Rd, London E2 8NA
🎟️ FREE RSVP, all welcome! Link in bio!
