There are years of motherhood when you’re just trying to get through the phase you’re in.

And then somehow you look up and think… wait. How are we already here?

High school. Driving. Independence. A quieter house getting closer.

The days can feel ridiculously long, but the seasons really do move fast. ❤️

🎧 Pam Moore joins us on this week’s Moms Unhinged to talk about the changing seasons of motherhood — and everything we’re figuring out along the way.

Every family needs an official measurement system. 😂

Apparently, in Pam’s house:

1 = totally calm
10 = Mom is throwing frozen food

The fact that her kids immediately turned one of her worst parenting moments into a unit of measurement feels both brutal and completely fair.

Turns out, being your kid’s personal chauffeur has one pretty great perk: they’re trapped in the car with you. 😂

Those drives are where you hear about their day, their friends, the random thing that happened at school — sometimes because talking is just easier when nobody has to make eye contact.

And then one day, they don’t need the ride anymore.

Maybe we’ll miss the Mom Taxi more than we think. ❤️

One of the unexpected perks of trying something new as an adult? Your kids get to watch you not be great at it all the time. 😅

Sometimes you crush it. Sometimes you drive home crying.

And sometimes your kid needs to hear that both can be true.
