Relationships change your life. And the relationships I’ve been blessed to build within Keller Williams and Luxury Pro have truly changed mine.

My last two days in Chicago at the Keller Williams Luxury Symposium were filled with learning, meaningful conversations, and time with people who challenge me to think bigger and become better.

I believe in always pouring into ourselves. Investing in our knowledge, our skills, our relationships, and who we are becoming.

Challenging markets require us to become more valuable agents. To sharpen our judgment, strengthen our negotiation skills, and bring thoughtful solutions to the people counting on us. My clients deserve someone who keeps learning and puts that learning to work.

I’m also coming home thinking about the leader I want to be. Building a stronger business requires me to keep growing, empower the people around me, and create a culture where high standards and genuine care go hand in hand.

And of course, we made it our personal mission to try as many amazing Chicago restaurants as possible. We saw the Bean, celebrated a few dear friends’ birthdays, ate VERY well, and enjoyed every opportunity to connect.

We operate on a strict no-chill, go-go-go policy, so I’m coming home exhausted and FULL. In every sense of the word.

I am, however, a little sad that caviar isn’t part of my everyday life. Please respect my privacy during this adjustment.

Some of the best conversations happened around those dinner tables, sharing ideas, experiences, and life with people who understand this journey.

I’m so grateful to be part of KW Luxury Pro. These relationships have expanded what I believe is possible and brought so much into my life beyond business.

Heading home with a full heart, a full notebook, and a fire in my soul to put what I’ve learned into practice in my business and my life. ❤️🔥

We're giving a big round of applause to our September Top Producers! 👏

Real estate is a people business and these accomplishments reflect the relationships built, trust earned, and dedication it takes to help clients navigate decisions involving one of their largest assets.

A special congratulations to our September leaders:

🏆 Individual: Lauren Cox
🏆 Team: Byrd Property Group
🏆 Group: The Dave Friedman Team

We're proud to be in business with agents who continue to raise the bar, serve our Lowcountry community, and turn hard work into real opportunities for others.

Help us celebrate our September Top Producers in the comments! ❤️🎉

What does a casual conversation in town tell someone about working with you?

People form expectations of your service from the way you treat them around town. Roni Haskell’s (@thatscrealestatechick) built her Charleston-area business with that connection in mind, from council meetings to coffee-shop encounters.

Those everyday interactions give future clients a feel for how you’ll treat them when they’re making a major decision.

Where do your best local relationships start?

Meet Roni Haskell 🌴

Roni has spent 20+ years helping people buy and sell across Summerville, Charleston and the Lowcountry. Before real estate she worked in interior design and new-construction community sales, so she sees a house a little differently.

She leads Roni & Co. with Keller Williams, and her clients keep calling her dependable and detail-obsessed.

Could the take you nearly deleted be the one people watch most?

A stumble can give viewers a glimpse of the person they’d be working with. Roni Haskell’s (@thatscrealestatechick) been filming for eight or nine years, and some of her bloopers are her most-watched posts.

Camera comfort has taken practice. Leaving room for humor makes that process easier to live with, while choosing platforms around your clientele keeps the work focused.

Have you ever posted your bloopers?

Who could tell future clients what working with you feels like?

Specific stories from clients and vendors give viewers a way to picture the experience. Roni Haskell’s (@thatscrealestatechick) Charleston team puts those people on camera and captures community footage while she’s already nearby.

Your professional relationships can supply credible voices, and an ordinary workday can create a natural opportunity to film them.

Send this to the person who films with you.

🌴 Pinch me.

I get to call this work.

I spent 3 days last week at Mega Agent Summit at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa! What an opportunity it is to be amongst a room full of top producers from across the Carolinas.

I can’t wait to bring back all of the nuggets I collected, from the keynote speakers to the panelists, & share them with our agents.

For as much as I love learning, my favorite part about these events is making new friends & reconnecting with old ones.

I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the resort, but I did catch up on some work with an ocean view.

Plus, the food & drinks were on par 👌🏽

What if your next seller already understood your advice before you arrived?

An answer you repeat in appointments can prepare people before you meet. Charleston broker Roni Haskell (@thatscrealestatechick) shares that experience with team leader Sandra Rathe: a seller already knew her recommendation from a video.

The questions coming up now give your content immediate relevance. Involving a local business that’s part of the story can help that guidance reach its community, too.

Which client question did you answer twice this week?

What a wonderful event! Learning, meeting people, networking, listening to presenters discuss the economy, business practices, motivation, and panels of fellow Realtors discussing their advice! Seeing the incomparable James Shaw, Ruben Gonzalez, and David Brown in person! All of this while at the beach! What more could you ask for?
