Funny how life works.

One minute I’m behind the console running monitors for my brother’s Stevie Wonder tribute, and the next I’m onstage singing one of my favorite Stevie records with the whole room singing back.

Somewhere in the middle of the song, it stopped feeling like a performance and just felt like all of us sharing a moment together. That’s the part I’ll be holding onto for a while.

Big love to my brother @jorianjohnson and @jtssoulexperience for putting together such a special night and trusting me to be a part of it in more ways than one.

And major love to the band and singers who played and sang their faces off all night. Everybody brought so much joy, care, and soul to Stevie’s music, and I’m grateful I got to share the stage with y’all.

From helping make the show work behind the scenes to stepping out front and singing with the room, last night reminded me why I love this so much.

Still not sure whether y’all were cheering for MarXus or Denzel, but either way, both of us felt the love 😂❤️
