IBJJF JJCON BRONZE MEDALIST 🥉 Tough divisions this weekend! Competed gi yesterday and lost first round by points to a very skilled competitor & today’s champion. Fought out of bad positions and had some attacks so I’m proud of that! For no-gi I won my first match by Kimura and ultimately got submitted second round placing 3rd. This was my first IBJJF no-gi comp as a brown belt! Im happy with my performance and will learn from my mistakes 😊 Thank you to my family and teammates cheering me on. Another thank you to my teammates back home in Cali helping me prepare! Also side note, after my first match my opponent and I exchanged words and she ended up saying a prayer over me before my next match 🤍 it’s amazing how community is, we can compete against each other and still know at the end of the day that God is over all & most important. My opponents are not my enemies only other women that are also doing what they love! So thank you to my sister in Christ for your kind support 🙏🏽 Glory to God ✝️ - @elite_team_visalia @eliteteamcorcoran @eliteteamlemoore - #bjj #jiujitsu #bjjgirls #womenwhotrain #grappling
