#tbt to this intergalactic cooking show set I dreamed up for @impracticaljokersofficial with our epic guest star, Alf. @thaxton_makes designed this custom table, @grandincustomfab did a killer job on the build, and @schmidlibackdrops and @rosebrandinc came through on the backdrops!! And of course, couldn't have pulled it all off without our amazing S10 coordinator, Amelia!

If you've seen the episode, you know the food was truly disgusting - a special shoutout to chef @nicolebassis for designing (safe!) recipes that were guaranteed to make the guys gag.

Congratulations to Will Thaxton on a fantastic show and super fun opening! It was great to see so many people come from far and wide (looking at you NYC and LA folks) to show love and check out Will’s new body of work. If you missed the opening but would like to see the show, drop a line.. it’s up through the end of May. ✌️
And thanks as always to the folks at The Steele Group | Sotheby’s International Realty who are the most amazing hosts for these shows!

Traveling gigs with Geoff - Fell’s Point in Baltimore, Maryland. Fell’s point was a great area to check out with plenty of bars and restaurants and great seafood. The crab pretzel i had was from riptide! Also what a great pleasure running into Malcolm @malcanto . Hire him for your production management needs!

@paulscheer episode aired 3/30/23 on @trutv and @tbsnetwork and was one of our most elaborate setups in lighting, art department and coverage.

I leaned heavily on gaffer and cinematographer @maxgarstak max garstak due to his amazing work on the brooke shields pun past season. This time around we worked similarly with @litegear litemat 4’s and complimented the background @dedolight bicolor led’s. It was crucial to make sure as much as possible was on dmx so we could dial all the lights based off of our camera setups and entrances. Our key grip @chuckydiz and swing sam dahmans were crucial in getting everything in order for this elaborate setup and on time.

Previsualization and planning was everything for something so elaborate so here you will see a rough sketch of @lucy_genius lucy goldberg, and some rehearsals and blocking of so many elements from this day. So much credit goes to the lighting and art departments to bring this incredible punishment to life.

Who knew becoming a wall would be a punishment on @impracticaljokersofficial and i would have the honor to help make that become a reality.
Definitely one of the best crews I’ve ever worked with hands down. And it all trickles down from the top. #TheJokers are awesome humans, let alone hysterical comedians and creative content masters. I mean you have to be if they are still going strong for over 200 episodes! LOVED working with @joe_gatto as he was so super patient and kind having never been fully Bodypainted before. Love working with @thaxton_makes on bringing this #punishment to life and all the crew who were so lovely and generous with a having us on set. Hope you caught the episode and counted how many wall puns Joe dishes out to the completely confused students at @manhattanville_college .
Thank you @artistrybyvirginia and @andrea_mazuera for assisting me this hysterical day that will go down in the books. #impracticaljokers #joegatto #impracticaljokersfans #camoflaugebodypaint #bodypaint #bodypainting #bodyart #bodypainter #nycbodypainter #wallpainting #justanotherbrickinthewall
